dc1872 2
Great player tonight, hope to see more from him I'd take him on full time too.
MasterD 7,435
Played well, but should have scored a goal overall though done what he was asked to
G.E.C. 18,769
His pace is vital. I'd be happy playing that back 5 in the next 3 games. Foster and Bougherra are very quick players and they'll be key for both attack and defence.
rfcShaun 10
Hes rapid! Very fit too. I would play the exact same team against them.
MosesMcNeil 1,664
I was hugely impressed with his performance - it would have been a dream for him to score with his chance.Looking forward to more of the same from the lad.
Gaz52 11,837
Other than his miss I thought he was brilliant, 2nd best player. If he can play like that week in week out in the SPl. I'd like to see us sign him. But let's hope he keeps it upAnyone else think "He shat it against Hamilton what's he gawna be like against Valencia?!?!" Blue corn flakes 1,282
Walter will turn him into twice the player he is!! Does he keep his place against Celtic? It depends on the formation. I thot he played really well and his confidence will be sky high. He has pace to burn and Walter will get the best out of him.
Big Laff's Dodgy Barnett 20
he was Fantastic tonight IMOtake a bow Richie
PaulRFC1 115
Fantastic game.He is one of the quickest players I have seen.
Harry Callahan 9
On hearing the team on the way to the game I thought it was a massive gamble that I was far from comfortable with.Well done that lad, excellent is not over stating his performance.Taking into consideration his game time for us, to be thrown into a game against a team that dominated Barca at home for 45 mins was never going to be easy for the lad.Again, a massive well done. AGM_72 3,633
I thought he was our best player tonight, if I'm honest. You know, I wasn't sure about his inclusion pre-match but I'll always give our players my full support and he was superb. If he'd tucked away his chance, it would have been a perfect night for him. How many times did Mata get a mention? Foster, and to be fair the rest of the defense, kept him so quiet. GersBear 6
He was astounding tonight! Could shortly become a starter IMO.
wearethepeople1 3,897
He played very well and should have been the hero at the end! If only he'd have kept the shot down all the headlines would have been about him!We will need to get a result in Spain or beat man u to have a chance of qualify IMO but Uefa cup should be in the bag...........dublin anyone?? BigBearAl 15
The sheep are welcome to Velicka, if we can keep Foster. What a performance tonight.
maxwellrfc 6
Fair play to him, he proved a lot of people wrong, including myself, with that performance.
FlippinEck 3,705
His first touch in the game was brutal but after that he seemed to get better as the game went on (like a few of the players) and turned in a great performance in the end up against a top team, more of the same when called upon richie! Bryan72 12
Fantastic tonight! Can't possibly be dropped on Sunday? Excellent Ricky tonight.
Harry Callahan 9
Fantastic tonight! Can't possibly be dropped on Sunday? Excellent Ricky tonight. He should be dropped for Sunday, we don't need to play 5 at the back against that mob.
laldo 4
thought he had some very nervy moments and the miss was gutting to watchbut apart from that his pace breaking up play and not just humping the ball away he actually tried to play football on the ground and got forward very wellso for his champions league debut i was impressed with that. Jamie1807 146
Some of the balls he launched forward had them worried
Millsyrfc1 13
didn't see this topic and started my own one like a says in mine thought he was probably our best player tonight and should play instead of whittaker at the tottiedome ! whittaker has been very poor this season and a feel a break would do him a lot of good, he was solid for most of the night but towards the last 20 minutes he started being stupid and basically giving the valencia player he was marking a free run at crossing it. was very concerned for those last 20 but naisy should have buried his chance on about the 80 minute mark but we should have been about 4-1 up by then Hopefully kenny got all his misses out tonight and will be back to his free scoring self on sunday
ChrissyBoyyy 18
played well, gutted he never scored and never knew he had that pace
Goianegra 4,682
Didn't see the big ass 7 pager Looked great. Hail Walter. Many doubted this signing, but Walter does it again! (Too far?)
StayWestFree 107
Apart from 2 bad moments, missing that sitter and that awful back pass, I thought he looked the part. Looked better as the game went on. Thumbs up from me.
