In the situation we are in, it would be insane not to offer a deal to someone who could score 10 goals in the second half of the season

In the situation Boyd's in, he would be insane to reject a £10k-£15k per week deal at the club he (Supposedly) loves and become a hero again

I think if we can play like we did today and keep the ball on the deck with the likes of Davis, Aluko, Mervan and Edu, if we have a poacher that is deadly in the box (Like Boydy) then it can really help us. Again, as I stated before, Jela is very good but I think we try to leave it up to him too often and lumping the ball up to him makes it hard for our skilled players to get on the ball and have an impact.

Hahaha fatten his own pocket? Really?

You do realise that the contract offer from Birmingham was reported to being alot higher than what he got at Boro. So playing along with this whole lining his pockets thing why would he snub Birmingham? just to stick it up us?, costing us a transfer fee? thats your theory?

Remember this is the guy who donated his entire signing on fee to the Kilmarnock youth setup when we signed for us, hardly the gesture of man thats all about himself and his own wallet.

Wtf are you on about?

He turns down Brum where Rangers stand to make £3 M, instead runs down his contract so he gets a massive signing on fee and he isnt trying to line his own pockets??? Yeah big Rangers fan, turn down £18k a week at 'your' club to go sign for a pishy club for £25k a week!

Serious question are you Kris Boyd? If so i hope you fk off somewhere else ya fat fkr!

I would take Boyd back as long as he wasn't getting any more than £10k a week and say to him you have 4 months to:

Prove to the fans you want this (by taking a reduced wage)

Prove to the manager and team you are fit or willing to work your arse off to get fit

And to make sure you bang in the goals to help us win 4IAR

All for the prize of a longer term contract and better terms.

Does he mean it's not a rumour anymore because it's not happening or not a rumour anymore because there is more depth to it?

How can having a proven goalscorer at the club not be a good thing though.

Kris Boyd should NEVER have left the club. It was never going to work anywhere else, and he knows it. This is the one move that WILL get him back to being a goal scorer!!

Even if he doesn't get 100% fit between now & the end of the season, he'd surely be good to have on the bench, in the Novo - impact sub role! :)
