CANUCKBEAR10 3 Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I think if we can play like we did today and keep the ball on the deck with the likes of Davis, Aluko, Mervan and Edu, if we have a poacher that is deadly in the box (Like Boydy) then it can really help us. Again, as I stated before, Jela is very good but I think we try to leave it up to him too often and lumping the ball up to him makes it hard for our skilled players to get on the ball and have an impact. It was never going to work anywhere else, and he knows it. This is the one move that WILL get him back to being a goal scorer!!Even if he doesn't get 100% fit between now & the end of the season, he'd surely be good to have on the bench, in the Novo - impact sub role!
