islandblue 366
Which player were you most excited about signing. For me it was Gazza really felt that was us moving to a different level. As it turned out I reckon he was the best all-round player I've ever seen playing for us
cornelius11 74
Sebastian Rosenthal
Senna 735
Jardel. Of the ones that went through, Michael Mols. Genuinely thought we'd have a striker to tear up the best the CL would offer. We might have done, who knows.
Clemdog 39,389
Davie Weir is up there for me in my lifetime.Edit - Didn't really fully read the OP. Most excited would be Jelavic or Weiss.
Papa Sasac 164
Had me most excited? In recent years, definitely Jelavic. Could tell at Rapid he was a fantastic finisher, but offered so much more than that as well. Gutted he's gone.

devref 201
100s of them but in most recent times i suppose it has to be the goalie.saved us so many times and instilled confidence through the team

BEE 4,880
The return of Fergie was special, his return in the CIS is a game I'll never forget.
ScottBF2 3,540
I got goosebumps watching Weiss warm up against Hibs. Excited me more than anyone.
stuart54 218
Far too many to mention but two are stand outs for me.From yesteryear - Colin Stein and more recently - Dado Prso.
islandblue 366
Colin Stein also special. My old man took me to my first game v Hibs .Went to Main Stand and we won 6-1 with Stein getting a hat trick.Slightly off topic but I remember a huge crowd anyone know where I could find actual attendance? Gallows high 208
Barry coming back . Loved the gallusness the first time around , for example as a 20 year old giving Stefan effenburg no quarter against bayern and knocking out Parma who were 2nd top team in serie A . When he came back he dragged the team to victory on countless occasions . And he's our own .
Bluepeter9 5,167
Oh and sourness - that probably was the most exiting one!
Jimfanciesthedude 24,545
prso and boumsong in recent times, although i had a nightmare that they both badly injured each other in a collision in the euro's that summer before they started their career with us
Johnnyren 601
i knew that when we signed ian ferguson from st mirren we had got ourselves an absolute gem of a player he certainly never let me down
glasgow argyle 1,093
Gazza for me, a genius but, closely follow followed by Laudrup, Gough, & The Goalie

Blue Atheist 178
Favourite Gers signing before first game - GazzaFavourite Gers signing with the benefit of hindsight - AlbertzWhat i mean by that is when we signed Albertz i couldnt have cared less. But looking back i honestly think he was up there with the Gio's, the Laudrups and the Gazza's.
