ianferguson 2,619
He's 21 and not the finished article, and frankly if you have skill and ability which this guy does, speed is less important no matter what era we're talking about. Aye if you were Davie Cooper.
George Goudie 42
He signed a 5 year deal in 2011. Would like him to stay but don't foresee a situation in which we'd be the best financial offer for him. Looks like he's enjoying it, a bit like Weiss in that sense. Jamie0202 12,360
Lack of pace never hurt big Dado's Rangers career.
Jack The Flipper 5,936
Lack of pace never hurt big Dado's Rangers career.Exactly. There's still some hate for MA in here, even although it's nothing to do with the player himself. Anyone with half a brain can see he's been one of our best, if not our best player since he signed. Jack The Flipper 5,936
Aye, but look at what pace has done for Airds career. It's irrelevant, the fact is the lack of pace regarding vuckic hasn't prevented him being our best or one of our best players since we signed. Other players are irrelevant tbh, it's how it effect each individual player.
BlueBeard 241
Think a deal could be done, where we sign him for an affordable fee but with a high % sell on clause, we would get him fit and have the benefit of his service for a couple of seasons before selling him on and getting say 30% of the transfer fee.Think this would suit Newcastle as they would make money of the player whether he stays fit and reaches his potential or not. toolongawake 1,205
He makes up for a lack of pace by having the ability to find himself pockets of space to receive the ball in dangerous positions.

sassaaaa 11,406
Cant believe the negative nonsense on this guy , he's leagues better than anything we have and is only 21.If we are ever in a position to get him we should and build from it. ZZed 4,510
He is 21 and has the qualities to be a very good player; this is the type that Rangers should be looking at. As for speed, that can be worked on and the ball moves faster than you can run.
SirAlistairofMcCoist 91
'Lack of pace' 'you need pace in modern game'Fuck sake you would think this was a game of FIFA
Getstiffed 8,863
It's the pace that you can move the ball that matters.Take Laudrup for instance, lightening quick but what really made him unplayable was his ability to move at top speed and stay completely in control of the ball. There are thousands of footballers who could probably run the 100 meters very fast, I'd bet less than 1% of them could move at that speed with the ball at their feet. Gaffbear 4,096
I'd love him to stay but if there are decent options down south then we could be pissing against the wind.
