KeyserSoze 15,265
Happy with this, a great pro to have kicking about our dressing room and coming off the bench. Hopefully he will be joining the coaching staff next year - especially with the under 20's.
Bears r us 31,337
I do not see Kenny playing very much, coming off the bench when required I would hope, and there to pass on his his experience to the younger players. With his new coaching role, if W & W think that is good for Rangers then I am happy with that.

Bearsden bear 2,376
I would expect he will be a back up player next season and will be more of a coach than anything else.
NixonRFC 1,576
I think this is all about his all round attitude and professionalism, I don't expect him to be a prominent figure in the first team but he is and always has been a model professional be it on and off the park, I'd imagine that Warburton will want to use his way of life as a benchmark for the younger players in the squad. Hoosier Ranger 1,554
Kenny miller in first 5 games of the season (3 sub appearances I think and 2 starts) - 5 goalsHe's definitely effective even if he was only a 2nd/3rd choice for any of front 3 positionsA year contract extension and then maybe keep him as a coach will do meI agree...plus he has been pretty healthy as of late and will be a good influence for new signings. Sket 13,610
He'll spend most of that year injured. Surprised by this. What's this weekend's lottery numbers?
GersInCanada 7,775
MW knows a great deal more about what makes a football team than I do.I may be somewhat baffled as to why KM got an extension but if MW thinks it is for the better good of the club then I for one will not argue with him. Falcoholic 1,348
It's only a 1 year deal so yeah, I'm happy with that for all the reasons already stated. It's a from me.
gogzy 31,195
Underwhelmed at this Good that he is taking an active role with the under 20s but IMO kenny miller isnt the answer on the park.

WeeJim 92
Hopefully on a coach level wage rather than first team starting player wage. Useful back up but even right now I think we're weaker when we play him never mind next season when I'd expect us to be better again. It worried me a little when he said this year he wouldn't be happy being a sub or bit part player, I hope his attitude to that has softened.End of the day though I trust Warburtons knowledge of a player better than mine so good luck to him and I hope he repays the faith his manager has in him. googglebot 4,743
Good move, makes sense to keep him for his experience and he's obviously being lined up to get more involved in the coaching side of things. This
googglebot 4,743
MW has consistently said he likes experienced/good pro,s to mentor the younger players , you can say what you like about Miller but he's a model professionalAnd this

julescotia 11,407
Good move imo. His experience in and around the squad will be excellent. Don't think he'll play as many games as he has done this year though, but a great squad player to have, and I think he'll be helping with the coaching side of things.Wonder if this has anything to do with Clark maybe for the heave-ho? 'If' he was and Kenny was to leave in the simmer too it would have left us ridicously short up top.

bluenoz 32,447
As a player, which is what the extension is for, its a waste of money. He is now injury prone and won't be effective at a higher level.. Tbh, he's done nothing after the first five games of the season to warrant this.
