Gaz52 11,837
Should he start on Saturday? Time to step up and find your goalscoring form again.
Prso's headband 35,942
Nope. Garner up top for me.
BridgeIsBlue 66,655
Him and Garner up front in a 4-4-2 Will never happen.
KingKirk 25,830
Warburton can say what he wants there is clearly a issue between both men
julescotia 11,407
Dodoo Garner Waghorn up top
Jamie0202 12,565
No. Has to be Garner up front. Could play him wide right but that would be a mistake in my opinion. Not playing well enough.
The Godfather 72,745
He's done nothing to merit it. Garner is the best of a poor bunch so will start, he ideally needs a partner but our system won't allow it sadly.
Negri's lovechild 14,536
After the manager supporting Garner yesterday,he has to play him against the sheep. id try and find a role for Dodoo in there as well, give the lad some sharpness. GazzaNumber8 44
McKay - Garner - Waghron, if he insist with the formation, which he will.
Gaz52 11,837
I'd start with Dodoo--Waghorn--MOH Everything else has tried and failed
SeparateEntityMyArse 54,319
Nope. Garner and Dodoo up front with four in midfield not including Waghorn.
Marky. 6,965
His career is taking a very similar path to that when he played for Wigan. He was outstanding for his first wee while, half a season it was, then next season Wigan went down and he was benched almost all the time. Forgotten about completely, problems with manager perhaps and loss of form. Waggy is great against the wee teams, but he's another player we will not see the best out of until the system is changed. MW is too stubborn and naive to change, and as a result, anyone can play and the performance would struggle to improve. How many weeks have we been going on about this person should start, and this person dropped etc. We don't have a clue who can play this system well, and neither does Warburton. Only reason players get a game is because they do well off the bench the day before, or players get dropped due to lack of form, but whoever comes in doesn't particularly do anything anymore special. Blumhoilann 6,712
Don't think it's the players necessarily, think it's the system4-4-2 would suit us much better imo, giving Garner and one other the ability to pressure the defence. The 4-3-3 setup keep us too narrow and forces Tav/Wallace to act as widemen and thus puts pressure on the defence,as we've seen, especially wi fast breaking teams. Ticky tacky footie is great to watch but it must be played wi pace and movement both of which we've been lacking lately. We also need a 'driving force' within the team, sadly Wallace isn't cutting it as Captain.

Hilly86 714
Have we tried him at right-back yet? Seriously, he's not good enough and doesn't give the impression that he's interested in getting better. For someone who seems to actually do the hard training that the manager talks about incessantly, it all seems to be about putting on bulk and muscle. He came on as a sub a few games back and looked comical trying to run. Garner earned a bit of respect last night for not surrendering like the rest of them. Him alongside Dodoo can't be worse than the pointlessness of the current setup.
Laudrup1984 25,100
I think it's a classic case of a player seemingly appearing to be better than we think primarily based on how poor the players on the park have been. You could argue could he be any worse however on the flip side he's done nothing to merit a starting place and some of his performances prior to being dropped were frighteningly worrying. He just seemed incapable of doing the very basics. I think he still has something to offer though but he must get back to a higher level. A front 2 of Garner and Dodoo/Waghorn could work IMO but not sure we'll see it happen.
james_85 659
Is he not forgotten because he is injured. Did he not pick up a rib injury in an U20 game?

Vanoli 4,628
Dodoo shouldn't be dropped. When he was able to open up his legs a bit and get running at defenders he was alright last night, disallowed goal was brilliant technique again. Waghorn is a joker. He's living of a decent record against part timers, Hamilton and Motherwell - where he still squanders 4 good chances for every goal he gets. Championship player. Hasn't done anything to earn a chance. Let's not go down the Nicky Clark 'gets better with every game he doesn't play' route again please.
