Members Meeting with Stewart Robertson and Club 1872 Directors

Dear Member,

Club 1872 is pleased to invite up to 100 members to attend a meeting with Stewart Robertson and Club 1872 directors. This meeting will take place on Monday 9th October at 6.30pm in the Ibrox Suite at Ibrox Stadium.

This meeting will give members the opportunity to put comments and questions to Stewart and Club 1872 directors, and to discuss some of the issues Club 1872 has raised with Stewart on behalf of members in recent weeks. Details of recent meetings between Stewart and Club 1872 will be shared with members in the coming days as part of a quarterly summary of all Club 1872 activities, allowing time to consider any feedback or further questions you would like to put forward at the meeting on 9th October.

To register your interest in attending this meeting, please email info@club1872.co.ukand put "Members Meeting" in the subject line. If demand for places is greater than the number available, we will pick names from a random draw.

Members who cannot attend are invited to submit questions/comments via email. The meeting will be recorded and posted on the Club 1872 website.

We look forward to seeing you on 9th October.

If I thought the right questions would get asked and the back stabbing coward held to account this might get us somewhere.

It's an chance to put some of the gripes on here to him directly and we've not really had this kind of opportunity of late. Someone needs to get right into him and ask why the club and board are sitting back watching us get fucked by press and certain clubs alike.

Agreed, but 1872 won’t do that.

Even as the second largest shareholder they will just ask the same lame questions, they will be fobbed off with the same we will get back to you answers.

Then all pat each other on the back.

Then let's get the loudmouths in there to stir it up and let them know that there are restless natives in the support.

I've tried that before at previous meetings

not recently though and your opinion gets met with awkward silence or a few tuts so I've gave up and accepted we've  too many clowns in our support

for my own health and well being more than anything

Who would have their names taken by Marshal and reported somewhere no doubt?

Seriously, most these meetings would not allow a loud mouth, or, just ignore them.

Fair play for at least having a go Kai. Pedro was a risk that was not worth taking at the time, when we needed a proven man and I hope that point is made.

For as long as James Blair remains part of C1872 - no pertinent questions will be asked of the board.

The main question to him should be "why did You appoint some one with no pedigree ,another experiment like warburton, when what we needed was stability"

I think you can fairly say there was a reasonably sound rationale behind him especially with Weir involved.  I cannot think of any rationale behind Pedro.  That topic aside we need to know why we are a doormat for the media and celtic to attack us, why their players are able to behave like the hooligan scum they are in our stadium and why the club refuses to highlight the blatant cheating by referees like Beaton and Thompson.  Tell them the time for dignified silence has long gone. We want a real fight back.

All those that are on the outside of the tent pishing in...

...become members, get into meetings like this  and get your voices heard.  Otherwise you''re just empty vessels grumping on an online forum.

Life member and getting 1872 to reasonably challenge this board is like pissing into the wind.

The very fact we are the second largest shareholder but still aren’t allowed to sit in on Board meetings and are given backhand answers to all questions should tell you all about 1872.

So are you going to whinge on Rangers Minded or go along to challenge and agitate for change?
