Anyone who tears into Murty should be given a kicking.

Any anger should be 100% directed at the board.

It will happen. When this goes south there will be nobody that doesn't feel the impact of it.

Murty is that nice a guy that he won't even need to directly be on the end of the abuse, he'll just feel responsible and that itself will ruin him

I actually like Murty, he comes across well but he is not ready to be Rangers manager. This is a clusterfuck of almighty proportions and confirms we have no money, no clue and no ambition. Despite being touted as the best club side in history, that mhanky mob are stumbling to the title this season and we're handing it to them having dropped 16 points at Ibrox this season. Any good, strong appointment and some shrewd activity in January would have proven very interesting in the second half of the season.

We all may be proved wrong but this season is now written off.

Unfortunately if results are poor, the goodwill given to Murty will be gone. He won’t last till end of season

So what happens if GM makes a right cunt of it, do they fire him and get the tea lady in ?

It’s as though the board have given up.

Actually an interesting point . Could he , or would he even want to , go back to the development squad ?

No surprises there. The board taken the cheapest option at the expense of throwing away the season. It was always going to happen and I wouldn’t expect them to even pretend otherwise until season renewal time.

It's a sensible decision and good luck murty. I've said before we can't get this next appointment wrong and if it takes to the end of the season to get the right person then fine. There's no point appointing someone for the sake of it and the only folk that seem to be shouting about it in the media are the arseholes that want to make money off a story, they know this appointment won't sell papers.
