There was nothing careless about the pass to Murphy. Murphy was facing his own goal and could have passed that ball first time to McCrorie, Goldson, Katic or McGregor yet he took a bad touch and the striker was on to it in a flash.

It was a careless pass. He scuffs it into the ground and it's bouncing at a decent pace towards Murphy. Obviously Murphy should do better (a lot better) but Barisic's ball should have been better.

Solid debut. But I’d like to see him against a team that will attack us more than st Mirren did before making judgement.  He looks good going forward, let’s see him up against it defending.

After watching it again, I agree the ball bounced in front of Murphy, so although it wasn't the best pass from Barisic, Murphy had several options to get that ball away from the danger area, he, unfortunately, took the wrong one. I think Murphy gets a lot of unjust stick on here, but I'm sure he will do us a turn this season.
