So you can afford to fly to NY, presumably stay in a hotel but you're concerned about the price of a beer, how many are you planning on drinking?

Only trying to find out the rough prices of drinks, I'll still be buying a fair few but got a lot of sporting events I'm going to whilst there and doing all the tourist stuff so would need to budget to some degree.

Aberdeen game will be 11.30am kick off. Unless you meant you were going to the club at 7.30am?

I'm sure I saw our game was the early kick off out the semi finals? Not been keeping up to date with the semi's just noticed it's now half 4 which is more ideal.

Was there late August/September. Its like a wee dive bar, bit dark and dingy but decent enough.

Beers were like 6 or 7 dollars. Fairly cheap however there is a 10 dollar cover charge taken at half time.

John Smeaton was there for the old firm so i finally got to see  a major celebrity in the flesh.

What’s the name of the bar?

October, a great month for sports in the States, you've got the NHL (go cheer for the Rangers), NFL & baseball all on the go - enjoy whatever you do

There's a huge UFC card on (Was bigger till they pulled the Diaz v Porier fight) when I'm there too but trying to convince the Mrs to let me go

I'm heading to NY next Friday and looking to watch all the games I'll miss in the Big Apple Bears RSC, has anyone been recently? Looking to gauge what kind prices I'll be looking at for beers etc.

Also some pics of inside would be good, couldn't find much on Google and the pics on their website isn't working.

Was in this boozer a few weeks back & watched us v hearts... the beer didn't seem that expensive but wasn't counting my change to see how much it cost, not many bears in the place I'd say about a dozen at most, guy came over at half time took 10 dollars which is fair enough... got uber up, game finished at 12noon nyc time walked it back to midtown with a stop in some boozer for a piss & another beer about halfway back....
