Highlight of Aberdeens season, us not winning anything. They've succeeded. The rest of this shitehole league are quite happy to let the rotten mhob do as they please so meaning we dont get anything. Just win the title next year.

Rogic stamps on Ball's arm/shoulder and it's accidental.

Weah hauls down Logan gets a yellow and is applauded for stopping the break.

Logan does the same to Forrest and Walker the cunt says he could have got a straight red for it!

That’s that then, it was inevitable since the moment Worrall fucked up at Kilmarnock, we lost all momentum from that point.

Personally I think it was the two draws with Hibs in December, if we won those we would have been out of their reach.

we owe them a doing tomorrow

Killie game for me as well, momentum fucked after that.

celtic were they’re for the taking and we are 12 points off them.

Inconsistency and failure to kill teams off destroyed our title aspirations this season, hopefully the quality SG speaks of acquiring close season will negate this going forward...

After 29th December we were buzzing and they were rattled. The fact we shat our pants in the next game gave them a lift and they went on a run they might not have if we had still been three points behind.

We were only 12 points off them last season as well. For how shite they are they’ve actually won more games this season than last. They reacted to their Old Firm defeat in December, we should’ve kicked on from the win but fucked up immensely trying to accommodate Defoe and Davis. Lessons hopefully learned, the run we’ve had since getting  beat at Parkhead is maybe a sign of that.

Winter break was a disastrous interruption to the season, see no actual need for it all.

Definitely mate, the break is a shambles especially as the weather here is always at it’s worse once the football resumes

I agree but at the time majority of our fans were happy with it as we could 'recharge' after an early start in Europe.

A lot of fans also were expecting a jolly to Florida to play in some ridiculous no mark friendly cup, as in the season before. Waste of time, and in hindsight it ruined our continuity.

To a point - there was a chance we were running on empty after the Euro run, so a recharge would have been a good thing in most circumstances.

Fact is, the win v the scum papered over a fairly poor December.

2 draws v Hivs, a draw at Dundee, loss in Vienna  and a home defeat to the sheep were not indicators of great form, so there wasn’t really a vast amount of continuity to build on.

See the we did 50 16 years ago thing, fuck off. They aren't having 16 years like we had. We need to get our act together now.

true if we don't get our shit together then they will win 55 before us and we'll be playing catch up.

Unfortunately the winter break is almost essential in this country now .Not due to the weather as our worst weather can appear anytime in a 4 month period .But due to our very early start in Europe for all 4 teams a period of recovery for the players is needed .

Its how you deal with the break that counts .It came at the right time for the tarriers and they used it wisely .

That doesnt mean i dont think we did the same .What we did wrong was squeeze 2 players who were not up to speed into the team .

People are clouded by the performance on dec 29 .December wasnt a good month for us .we ended it superbly though and we should have went to Killie with the same side that skelped the taigs .

When Gerrard started we were told he ticked all the boxes apart from having experiance .This has been evident a few times this season but he appears to have learned from most of his mistakes

Next season we will have a far more settled squad and a manager with a whole lot more experiance than started last June

Your 100pc correct .What we will never know is .Would the squad have kicked on if there was a game the following week or did they really need a rest .

That’s the $64000 question, mate.

The reception the players got in response to that result & performance will have been like nothing most of them had ever experienced.

I’d like to think the boost from that would have lasted into the following week but, as you say, we’re never going to know......
