We have scored a ridiculous number of class goals this season and that one was right up there.

Imagine your luck scoring a worldie like that which would be a GOTS contender but we've had Jack pull a paul scholes last week and roofe doing a beckhamesque half way line job in the same fucking season. Gutted

Was good when he came on tonight, but these are the games he’s good in normally when he doesn’t have ten men in front of him.  What did Gerrard say about him before game why he wasn’t started because these are the games he should be starting.

All the doubters must be in hiding tonight the boy has some talent best player on the park when he turns it on.

Happily admit I'm one of his biggest doubters

Also happily admit he was fantastic tonight when he came on, was direct & scored a fantastic goal.

Nobody doubts he has talent, that's why it's so frustrating for him to only have a cracking performance once every now and again.

Didn’t he take on two or three defenders?

Agree but when he plays like that he's a different level altogether.

He had a wee knock but should be able to play some part.

Don’t start that shite again

Mate he played a game where he nearly scored twice and set up an easy goal and still got slated. The other two attackers never had a shot on goal that game and there was nothing. It's anything but shite.

It's absolutely mental to think that some fans don't rate him. No doubt if Ryan swaned about waiting for people to pass to him to attack, rather than actually defend, he would have far more energy to be much more creative. But he chooses not to do this and works his socks off for the team. Kind of like what Mourinho tried to tell Joe Cole he had to do to make him a better player. The guy gets a very hard time of it on here and always shows his true worth in big important games where it is more open and his work rate shines above most others.

Hopefully he is over his form dip, showed more tonight in a short period than the majority of his recent games.

And his goal was one of those that will go down in our history.

I’ve literally documented in every post why all he’s bringing at the moment is work rate because he’s no bringing goals, assists or anything else.

you’re talking about potential assists, things that didn’t even happen to defend his performances

Changed the game tonight. Has often been the scapegoat this season.

He’s not been a scapegoat just a £7m player who’s not produced enough so far.

He’s done well but not done enough over the course of the season.

He’s still young and will be a great player in the next couple of years..

I'd take that if a lot of the comments weren't embarrassingly worse than that.

Neither can a. May have been but he got into those positions and made this chances. Other two done fuck all but all the posts were about Kent. Happened last season on a regular basis with Tav. It's 100 percent scapegoating and looking for blame.

Fuck it, we won Tonight and I seen an incredible game of football. That's what it's all about.
