Popular Post The Specky Forum Organiser 64,742
them - 52 53 this season Our support needs to start making a bigger thing about this. We have been ahead of these kiddy fiddling bastards for about 100 years, every single one of us has been able to lord that over them for our entire life, we're sleepwalking into them overtaking us. SkylineBlue 23,372
You're going either have to invest 20 - 30 million in the summer to rebuild that squad or find a manager who can work miracles or they'll get 54 with relative ease too. Another pandemic would be nice too.

Popular Post .Williamson. 82,249
Unfortunately I think it’s probably inevitable they will overtake us in my lifetime unless something drastic changes with us at boardroom and investment level. They’re a better run club than us just now and that’s just the sorry truth of it. The Beast, leam_baw, Kaydubya11 and 10 others
Johnnyem 237
Aye, unless something drastic happens we can do nothing to stop them the way things are going. Gio must go as soon as possible or it will be too late.

This is where things need to change, and I'm not claiming I know how to change it or there's anything wrong with what you guys have said, but there is absolutely no reason why we can't turn the club around within the space of a few months, they did it last year Paisley Blue Loyal
BookWorm 4,128
Never thought I would see them overtake our record in my lifetime but with the likes of the Dutch clown in charge they will surpass us soon and then some.

The journey back , being back in the top league ,winning it one season, back in the champions league etc, that’s not it for me. Going out feeling and knowing we’ll win, consistently winning trophies year after year after year is where we should be. Loyal72 11,052
Brutal isn't it? Such regression has been allowed at our football club. Fucking criminal. Spot on a bigger deal should be made about this. Kylegib

Johnnyem 237
A new manager, if we get the right one, may turn things around, but we cannot wait until, the Summer for that to happen.

I agree but we're not as far behind them as much as we were a few years ago. A good managerial appointment and a few quality signings we'd be right back at them. plymouthranger

Madina 3,821
Sadly 11 titles in 12 years has meant theyve caught up at a rate we werent expecting. BlueFrewExile 171
The first thing we need to do is realise why we won 55 and why those cunts are winning now. We didn't win 55 because of no crowds. We won it because of 5 subs. Under Gerrard we ran over teams in the first half of the season, then ran out of steam. Until 55 when we could change most of our forwards and midfield and keep up the energy. That's how those cunts play now while we stroll around trying to conserve our energy. We did ball work in the summer and our fitness is terrible. Europe has shown that Flange (and Gio) is tactically naive. Match their work rate with somebody with tactical awareness and we get back on top.
