You think attending corporate events etc should get you a place in our HOF. If that’s the case Marco Negri and Marvin Andrews should be certainties. So how did he serve our club, seems like nobody can answer that, or they say something like “he stayed when the shit hit the fan” forgetting his comments about moving his family. Also his wage being enormous for a third div player and very little interest in clubs wanting him. Lee Wallace like every other player does what’s good for him and his family, simple. It’s the same thing I’ve said for years When the club was on it’s knees, and players were leaving left, right and centre, he stuck by the club. That’s service. 😂

Marky. 6,963
8 years of service, overseeing some of the worst times for the club. Providing the fans with that one recognisable, relatable on-pitch character that was badly needed when there was no identifiable Rangers presence in any aspect of the club. Leader off the park, spoken of highly by many who played with him. Whether or not you think he was looking out for himself by staying on a decent pay and not taking a risk, ultimately he chose to stay with the club across our worst years ever. By taking what you can argue suited him and his family, he gave up so much more. Easily a legend, easily a hall of famer. JCDBigBear
Marky. 6,963
Confused as to what is seen as "service" if we are wanting to use that criteria, but clearly folk can look at a case-by-case basis and pick holes in many inductees. The same should be done in potential inductees - they should be looked at in their own individual case. Lee Wallace's case is totally unique, and worthy in its own right. The HoF is kinda shite though if we are honest. Causes more arguments than anything too. Designed to recognise people who deserve recognition, but folk actively shooting down people who are in there and who shouldn't be in there kind of just contradicts giving people respect and recognition in the first place. He stayed and led the club impeccably in our darkest days when apparent Rangers fans couldn’t fuck off quick enough to chase a fast buck. Sunderland wanted to sign him for around the same wages at the time but he stayed. The way he was treated by the board at end was shameful in the end all because they took the side of Murty and James Traynor. blaudrup, Tiger Shaw, JackAlex93 and 11 others

cr3_bear 14,992
Think Morelos will be in it one day If he had more domestic success with the club it would be a guaranteed entry probably the most significant player for the young generation of supporter over last few years to idolise

bluenoz 31,088
Tav will get in one day mainly for his service to the club, same for Goldson. McGregor & Davis are guaranteed based on the five criteria. OrangeRab
VanVeenRangers 2,555
The board in the coming years will select people like McGregor, Davis, Tav. I wouldnt be surprised to see Goldson join if he wins more trophies. Morelos shouldnt be given his attitude and fitness issues each season but he likely will go in. This thread is like twitter. Full of moon howlers.
