B1872 21,944
Hopefully get another starting centre back in alongside Cordoba to replace Goldson and Davies. Souttar and Balogun should be sufficient back up. Would love a big horrible cunt that’s face is a mess and will be a threat in the opposition box. Bristoe1872 and scottyscott1963
real boydie9 18,574
I like the big man. Glad to see him get a new contract. He has a good attitude unlike the majority of the current team. Dickie1963 and bassettger

The early attack from maeda on Sat which left tavernier scrambling and Balogun put in a full blooded clearance, which had me out my seat giving it "now, that's a fuckin challenge". Show the new defenders around the place then take to the video review room and let them see what we expect every match for the length of the match. real boydie9
McEwan's Lager 32,088
Think this would be a mistake. Injury prone, likes a daft red card, 36 years old in the summer, not overly great. Ivybank, MacBoyd and ForeverAndEver
Amokachi 3,436
As the chap beside me on Sat said a few times, ‘he’s the only defender we’ve got that can fkn tackle some cunt’ !!
crmpicco 153
This is very poor PR by the club. If they had read the room they should’ve realised announcing an OUT before a new contract for an aging, injury prone player would’ve been a better move. The support are demanding a cull and a fresh scene, yet the club are like “here’s Big Balogun on a 12 month extension” J-Maestro

Most people are sensible enough to realise this deal won't have much bearing on what we're looking to do this summer. Few people as well putting 2 and 2 together and believing that balogun staying means goldson is gone, which seems to get a better reaction
ayrshireranger 8,628
Happy with that. Goldson can uck off. Souttar not convinced 100% but give him next season, Davies imo just enough to stay, King has to either go or a loan not good enough imo, but like Dujan might make a better DM. Yfeko has potential imo. Still want to us t o get 1/2 CH's, Cordoba and A N Other.

Goldson can go, can't keep both souttar and davies for the likely wages they are on we can't have a 4th choice centre half swallowing up the bulk of a million a year in wages, 4th choice needs to be someone like a katic or edmundson, guys who look to break into the team with a bit of development 2 new centre halves, good ones, souttar as 3rd choice, youngish but physically developed 4th choice and have a youngster as your emergency 5th one ayrshireranger
MacBoyd 6,075
I've actually started to think I'd keep davies he's a decent enough player bit soft but of next to a commanding player he'd be good
