I still think any half decent manager who is adaptable could get a completely different tune from these players, if they had a style and system that they could understand and could adapt within games we are struggling in then I think we could have the basis of a decentish team, but they are being coached by a muppet whos won stuff in belgium, big deal, looks like belgium is a far easier league to get to grips with than the scottish league coz hes got no clue what hes doing here.

Looks increasingly like Clement has no idea and someone decent might get a bit more out of them but the standard is not there.
What really riles me is the lethargic slow approach we take to everything. Clement could be the worst tactical manager in history but you’d think he’d at least gee this shite up a bit - give us a bit of urgency and energy and it would get teams on the back foot.

No manager change through this season please it just doesn't work. If it needs to happen wait to the summer.

Nobody can fix this mess whilst the season is ongoing but will still be judged on it. Same thing happened to gvb beale and now Clement.

You’re a dopey bastard

Literally all 3 of the names you mentioned had a positive reaction when they came in mid season. Clement almost but for a bizarre collapse could have won a treble and Gio won a Scottish Cup and took us to a European final ffs

Even Beale got an initial  lift from the team he came into and we went on a bit of a winning run. Even battered celtic at Ibrox at the end of the season, albeit a weakened side.

None of them were judged negatively on the half seasons they came into the club. It was the full seasons following when they had their own sides and their own stamp on it

Butland

Sterling Souttar Propper Kasanwirjo

Barron

McCausland Bajrami Jefte

Igamane Dessers

That teams got more than enough quality to compete for silverware in this league if it’s coached properly. You’ll notice I’ve dropped two holding midfielders as it’s brain dead nonsense against the level of opposition we play domestically

Ideally Cortes would be fit and McCausland would be benched but here we are

Boyd essentially calling for Clement to be sacked now.

Fan media seem to be turning as well, Stevie Clifford has been very critical since Thursday night.

It’s all starting to feel a bit like the last couple of months of Gio.

We had fans, including people on here, wanting Gio sacked after losing his first OF game to Celtic.

The slow nature of our play is absolutely mind numbing to watch

If someone could coach the players properly then we would half a chance.

This season will be catastrophic if he remains in charge, Pedro/murty levels of embarrassment

Boyd is bang on with the parallels to Man United - it’s on and off the park.

They play the same sort of system as us and like us, as you seen last week, you could drive a bus through them.

As he said they have their results, like we do, but like us you just know a couple of games away from a mishap.

Seen a couple of people say that changing managers mid season never works? It’s the only thing with the team that does work. Under Gio, Beale and Clement we were very good when they first came in mid season mostly until the end of the seasons. It’s the summers and new seasons which then go shit

King Kirk is one of those people but we know the opposite of what he says is true

No he's not. His article is bang on but he's not calling for a sacking.

“I just don’t see any progression — at Ibrox or Old Trafford — and it seems both clubs are simply delaying the inevitable.”

seems that way to me

”I just don’t see any progression”

”it’s excuse after excuse from Clement”

”It looks like the inevitable is only a few months away”

Referring to similarity with Ten Hag ”it seems both clubs are delaying the inevitable”

You’re right mate, he’s fully backed him there.
