While technically not a debut but Mark Hateley in his first game of his second stint. Fuck it, I'm calling it a debut. Ran riot and bullied the Celtic defence all game... well at least until his game was cut short with a red card.

Thanks for posting. Brings back some great memories.

Whilst the EPL goes from strength to strength as the best marketed league in world football they would give anything for an English rivalry like ours with the scum. Granted they're not to keen on the Glasgow version.

Only the incompetent and corrupt numpties running Scottish football would cut their noses off to spite their faces and do everything in their power to bring a halt to their greatest asset.

And they wonder why they struggle for media and sponsorship deals.

Without us and them there is no Scottish football. No competition,no excitement or passion. Just a product that resembles amateur football from real football countries.

Steven Whittaker had a very good debut, where we beat Falkirk 7-2 at Ibrox- for pure impact alone, that was possibly the best debut match made by a Rangers player in a long time. Another good one was more recent, Tavernier against Burnley; he was very good in that match. And, although he didn't score, in the same match Waghorn showed some excellent touches, which told us we had signed a very good player.

Souness.

Could have been sent off twice before he actually was for a glorious off-the-ball crippling of the bheastly George McCluskey, who was carried off the field dripping blood. It was only about half an hour into the game and sent a nice wee message out that Rangers weren't going to be anyone's bitch any more.

In all the time I have been watching by far the best debut and start was Colin Stein. First game a hat trick against Arbroath in Scottish Cup, then next game a hat trick against Hibs then his third game 2 against Dundalk in a European Game.

don't forget boydies debut hatrick against Peter reed!!!!
