Was sat near the pitch, they ran right at us, fans reacted and the police were nowhere.

The stewards aren't allowed to grab people, the ones without badges anyway so there's little they can do.

I think the reactions of the police was laughable. They were far too slow

Scottish FA Chief Executive Stewart Regan has condemned the behaviour of supporters which marred this afternoon’s William Hill Scottish Cup Final.

“Scottish FA is appalled by the scenes of disorder on the field immediately after full time and at the contemptible behaviour that ensued. What should have been an historic, memorable Scottish Cup final will now, sadly, be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

“Police Scotland and the stadium management initiated a Crisis Liaison Group as soon as the disorder began and we thank them for containing the situation as quickly as possible.

“The Scottish FA, along with Police Scotland and the stadium management have initiated a full investigation into the scenes that unfolded to understand how such a volume of supporters were able to enter the field."

What a wank statement by the SFA, scared to point the finger at the real culprits so i reckon we'll get our fair share of shit from the corrupt bastards. We should boycott the Scottish cup next year, fuck hibs, fuck the taiga and the SFA can all go and suck the shits out of the taigs arseholes

Hibs have to be in some way punished for this to prevent the same thing happening again. It's sad this type of thing has to be used as a method of prevention, but what else can be done?

The Hibs team deserve the cup, there's no doubting that, however their club have to be dealt with - it's their scummy fans.

This.

Quite clear they junkie bastarts were at fault but that statement reeks of "aye both were to blame". Manky incestuous bastards assault professional footballers and assistant manager on the pitch? Unreal. Cunts should be hammered for this.

There's the classic reaction to an event "Police Scotland and the stadium management initiated a Crisis Liaison Group as soon as the disorder began" - form fucking committee to talk while the action unfolds around them.   What sort of management-speak shite is this that the SFA speak?

They are appalled.  They formed a liaison committee there and then.  They will investigate.  But note........no condemnation.........no promise of action against those who did this.....and very very tellingly.........no acknowledgement of Rangers' statement which said that Rangers staff and players were assaulted.

For such a weak statement of this nature put out by the SFA  there can only be one course of action for King / Rangers - demand at the very least the resignation of the SFA CEO and maybe the entire exec team on the basis of gross incompetence and negligence in failing to assure the safety of Rangers' players and staff and, having so failed, to fail to recognise their responsibility, and failure to condemn violence.

It's very clear from this statement the SFA have no regard whatsoever to Rangers' players and staff being assaulted or for Rangers Supporters to be subjected to severe provocation at an event run and managed by the SFA.   Lets now see what the Police statement will look like.
