sco22y got a reaction from Ted E Bayer in Balogun
Don't we have the option of adding him to the Euro squad in the new year?

McAusland has been superb and his style of play reminds me so much of a McCann or Huistra. Great addition to our squad.

sco22y got a reaction from Bad Robot in We’re absolutely fucking shite
We played against 10 men for practically 1/5 of this two legged game and couldn't capitalise. Utter shite!

Starting the season on a plastic pitch is truly awful. It's a shambles that this continues to be allowed.

sco22y got a reaction from Juniorsparkie in Why not invest in SPFL talent?
We have lost out on so many fantastic talents recently that have played in our league (Hickey, Ferguson, Doigde etc.), surely we need to learn from this. I'm thinking back to Neil McCann, Billy Dodds, Claudio Cannigia and Nacho Novo, to name a few, who delivered us titles.
Van Veen, Shankland and Nisbet are know doubt a talking point but so too are many others?

Their game today did not produce one single card. Can't imagine this has happened in all our encounters in 29 odd years.

Can you imagine Frankfurt (1), Leipzig (2) and Dortmund (3) all over again 😂

I agree with the 'safe' remark. Too often we care for having so many dms in our starting line up, albeit great at keeping possession, so we often forget the attacking brand of football we have historically been associated with. We badly need a gifted central midfielder (ala Pedro Mendes or Barry Ferguson esque) in there.

If we were to use, for example a 442 (or variation diamond etc.) our wingers and l/r backs will go beyond and cover for each other. We should have total trust in ourselves that if we have two cms playing, no matter who(in SPL anyway), they will win that midfield battle. Total reshuffle yes, but we can't stick with the same formation as ever.

Never a lone striker and think we could score an awful lot of goals if we pair him with Alfie.

Spending 4 million means hee haw. We still don't know whether Davies is cut out for us or not. My point in question is that Borna my go elsewhere for more than 4 million if you are to believe the media. Imagine the team getting Borna thinking they have won a watch only to see what we see each week. Still pissed off we let Balogun go.

I'm almost certain there is a player there. He maybe struggle in his current position but at times tonight he showed potential. For me he is a full back. The boy shouldn't be criticised for filling in for injured players. Would he be in your squad in the coming months, if Balogun and Helander are fit?

Naturally, I agree. We are a -1 handicap result away from a Euro final and I believe that our brilliant fans will do their best to spur us on, however, no matter what happens, as I said previously, I'm proud of them just now. Pissed off with the league position, but proud of them for getting to the Semi Finals of the Europa.

Proud of that performance, given the magnitude of the game. Then you factor in West Ham's result (at home) and Leipzig are better than Frankfurt. Got to say, Ryan Jack is a magnificent football player at that level. When he went off I thought the worst and it happened.

I thought about defending his statement giving our Dortmund performances and how we unfortunately had several goals narrowly chopped off on Sunday but then there was this angry side of me that says we still ain't doing it(domestically) under him (Gio). I think more than anything I'm pissed off with our recruitment in the January transfer window. Not one of them has has any kind of impact.

Ryan Jack does not give a fuck who you are, you will not get the ball off him unless you play in blue💙
