Sterling

There’s something about this lad.

I have a feeling he’s going to become indispensable, just as Bassey did after a slow start,

Does nothing spectacular but does EVERYTHING right. Arguably two MOTM performances in the two biggest games this season to date, whilst playing in an unfamiliar position.

Exciting to think how a central midfield consisting of Lundstram,, Raskin and Sterling could perform..

Not wanting to be stereotypical but like Bassey as the op said his athleticism is incredible.

Energy is incredible he’s played a couple of times at right back and his crossing was really poor.

Seemed to have matured into the midfield role already though.
A great player to have

Crazy. Brought in as a generic squad player at fullback and defence, and somehow given an opportunity in midfield. Takes said opportunity as if that has always been his position, and dominated, along with Lundstram.

So strange to think, but he could, if it’s where Clement sees him, become a huge player in the centre of the park for us.

Young enough to pick up a different position, he already has some of the key traits (primarily the physical traits), work on his technical abilities, range of passing etc. and he could be a real mainstay in the centre of the park for us for a long time to come.
