Is there any chance this can be taken off pinned so we can maybe drum up more signatures otherwise it just gets forgotten about.

ONLY 40,583 signatures....we need 100,000 no? I know some thing they are already being investigated but this just isn't good enough to be honest.

It closes 22/11/2013 11:20 so we have 2 months to really do something here.

Perhaps some vocal group who have links to the media could highlight this to drum up signatures and support? The club officially cannot get involved, but other interested parties might find it gets them some goodwill to do something that is as united an issue as we have in our support?

Only 30 days left...

Just 41,175 signatures. Depressing!

This is something all those Rangers bloggers should have been making noises about instead of what they have been spending their time doing.

But, does anyone have any ideas about trying to push this on?

Might be worth all of us who bothered our arses to sign it, and get family and friends to sign it, to do it the old fashioned way. Get out there with pen and paper and hunt down these signatures.

It's not great odds we'll get the 58,825 signatures we need in that time but we've faced worse before. It's only 1,961 signatures a day...

Anyone know if the RFFF are interested/able to get involved and support the monumental push we'll need to get anywhere near the target?

We can't just sit back and allow this to drift into obscurity.

Maybe something is not quite right with this petition, having a look across the forums, Facebook and twitter more than 100000 have viewed these pages but only 41000 have signed.

This page alone has had 71000 views, I find it hard to believe that not everyone and their immediate families have signed this, i know that at least 5 of my immediate family and additional friends and their families have signed.

If each of the people who have viewed only this page that has encouraged similar volumes of signatures that will give more than 360000 signatures from RM alone.

Does anyone know how to investigate if the counter can be manipulated?

Don't know why so nany are getting their knickers in a twist over this as, even with the right number of signatures, no debate will take place. What would happen is that a motion calling for a debate would take place. This would likely only be attended by MP's like George Galloway, Anne McGuire, Margaret Curren, Gemma Doyle, Brian Donohoe & Thomas Docherty, and the motion would not be carried. End of story. The way to get things done is through your own MP. The on-line petition idea was just a way of politicians to keep the masses thinking they could influence government with no intentions of ever carrying out any real debates. They are just a waste of time.

Its obvious we are not going to get this petition through, im a member or Change.Org which is a epetition site and the petitions on there regularly get responses and even results with less signiture than our one, why we have not even had any response at all i dont know, probably because this is a goverment site and they really wont want a scandal involving HMRC.
