Did more than Defoe. Put in graft and came close.

I'd start with him upfront if Morelos is out before Defoe.  All day long.

Agreed, Defoe has shown nothing on the park other than being called Defoe to suggest he's ahead of Lafferty which is sad.

Neither are the answer. But lafferty seemed to try to do something. Defoe waited for something to happen for him.

Usual, let’s pick on Lafferty when it was clear as day that if we needed anyone to lead the line alone it should have been him n not defoe.

He did more than defoe during his time in the pitch, but let’s single him out.

OP is a pokey bum wank.

I agree mate. Sums it up perfectly. Defoe doesn't seem to want to get involved unless it's put on a plate for him. In fairness though I don't know why on earth we're pumping long balls up to him. Either way, I'd play Lafferty ahead of him but correct, neither are good enough

Doesn't seem to have the ability to score enough goals for Rangers any more.    As a striker that's a key job and since he can't take his opportunities when SG plays him then he is failing, and the manager is failing too if he just keeps on playing him in the hope that somehow, someday the fortune will change and he suddenly starts to score goals again with some regularity.

Yesterday's striker along with Davis as yesterday's midfield player who on paper you'd think could and would to a real good job for Rangers these days but the evidence indicates they are done.

They risk becoming current day equivalents of Herrera and Pena (in terms of lack of effective contribution to the team).

Never understand why managers don't understand they need 4 decent strikers in a 22 man squad.

Chances are you are going to get one injured, one suspended, or one off form. You're definitely going to get periods when two are out, and if you only got three strikers you're fucked when something happens to the last one.

And also 4 strikers keeps up the competition om the top two.
