I think you will find that in a league where there are better quality players, plus the knowledge that VAR would be around to keep refs on the straight and narrow, he would flourish. Plus the sheer hatred that he has had to endure would fuck off many players. They spotted his ability, and played on his temperament. This season, he had matured, then bang, all fucked up . 

 

In saying that those, he is certainly damaged goods ATM, and a smart actor would be in for him at a knock down price.
