To be honest, I think the club can get away with winging it with fans cash this season based on the fact none of us knew what to expect in terms of getting in the ground. Plus everyone is clearly happy with 55 and the overall performance of the team. But disappointed that they've failed to acknowledge the financial sacrifice regular fans made this season, or indeed, the fact they haven't bothered to lay out contingency plans if the same was to occur next season.
Can't really be dressed up any other way, season ticket holders received £10 worth of TV coverage per home game (available to any random punter) and nothing else, for a sum that was significantly more than the £190 value that amounts to - and that's not even taking into account households with multiple season ticket holders  who in real terms got even less for their money.
Appreciate it's always better to be 'staunch' on a message board, but I think the club have been a bit pish in the way they handled things regards last season, especially if you add on the MyGers fiasco, and it seems to be  the way they look to be approaching next season with these type of announcements.
Not impressed. Fuck knows how I would feel if we hadn't won the league!!!!

I reckon that Gerrard will make multiple changes but only once the game is won.
I expect us to start with a strong team and take no chances against what is an in form team who will be a championship side next season.

Thought Christian Horner messed up letting Hamilton undercut Verstappen with the pit stop strategy - going to be close this year, but expect Mercedes to make adjustments to the car as we go forward, but get the feeling Honda can't do much more with the Red Bull.
Thought yesterday just proved Hamilton is by far and away the most talented driver out there, and without doubt, has the best winning mentality amongst all the top drivers!

That's not the day we won the league, that was this afternoon when Aberdeen announced Broony as player coach!!

I would hope there would be some communication with fans before renewals go live - last season everyone renewed hoping to see games live and have ended up with the same access non season ticket holders got for a tenner. Be nice even to see some acknowledgement of that.
Given what has happened, the club need to be clear on what the offer is to fans this year if (god forbid) the same thing was to happen.
Obviously not one is kicking up a fuss because the season went well and the club couldn't have foreseen fans being locked out so long - but I don't think you can ask fans to pay for another year at full price with no contingency in place if restrictions were to remain all of next season.
Though I'm not holding my breath on any of that happening and fully expect a link for renewals and fuck all else!!

Unbelievably very few see anything wrong with non season ticket holders watching the full season for a minimum £300 less than a season ticket holder mate

    PREMIERSHIP POST-SPLIT FIXTURE DATES
    Rd 34 – Weekend of 10/11 April
    Rd 35 – Midweek of 20/21 April
    Rd 36 – Weekend of 1/2 May
    Rd 37 – Midweek of 11/12 May
    Rd 38 – Weekend of 15/16 May
I'm guessing the next OF game will be 1/2 May, can't see it being the last game and I doubt they go for back to back OF matches, though with no crowds maybe it goes to a midweek date, though doubt Sky would let that happen???
Does anyone know if they are out today?

I bet our last home game is Rd 37 making the trophy presentation a midweek!

Agree with most of that but the fixtures were skewed to cover for someone like Hibs upsetting the "seeding".
If the "seeding" had worked Hibs would not be in the top split but we've already played Motherwell twice away so the idea that we would be replacing an away game to Motherwell with an away game to Hibs doesn't hold.
This year in the first 3 rounds of fixtures we have been away twice to Aberdeen,Livingston,Hamilton,Hibs,Motherwell and Celtic.
I appreciate that this reverses each year so I would expect that "sporting Integrity " would prevail and Celtic will be away twice to this years top six in the first 3 rounds of fixtures next season PLUS away twice to the team finishing in 7th place. (St Mirren)

We're home to them, Aberdeen and Hibs, away to Livi and St Johnstone.
It's based on seedings from last season, it's not just a random pick of who we play away for the third time.

To be fair, and I'm not saying his motives were honest or not, but visible shows of solidarity against racism are probably more meaningful than ones behind closed doors in some situations.

I’ll put my hands up and say I have been firmly in the All Lives Matter camp but this has truly opened my eyes. Nobody should face that kind of discrimination and abuse just because of the colour of their skin. This has made me more aware and has made me look at the bigger picture that of course all lives matter but all lives don’t have to go through what black lives do. I don’t have to worry about going outside and being racially abused and no one should have to worry about that but unfortunately black people do and, not that it was ever acceptable, in this day and age it is truly despicable. I have never been racist and I don’t look at people in colour. Colour genuinely matters not a jot to me but I think that’s why I have been blinkered.
