Del reacted to The Dude in Why does Tav take free kicks?
23 out of 40 altogether.
2 of 14 this season (one of them was a free kick)

Said it earlier, he's the footballing definition of flattering to deceive.
Would not be spending anywhere near the millions some on here would on him.

I like him and think we are a better team with him in it but he flatters to deceive too often tbh. Needs to up his game.

He wasn’t going to fix it in one season. With the inevitable Morelos money. It must be reinvested in the squad.

Nothing to suggest McCrorie will become a top player in that position, other than endeavour, passion, tackling and the physical stuff I think he hasn't shown enough. His range of passing, vision, reading of the game and shooting all need to improve if he's to become a top player in that position.

Fuck off man, settled for a draw against Aberdeen fuck sake. Get a grip

Del got a reaction from Redwhiteandblue in Glen Kamara
Nothing to suggest McCrorie will be a top player in that position or that Kamara will be first choice?
I think McCrorie is obviously more physical and can maybe get around the park better, maybe his attitude to win the ball back makes him better at that than Kamara but I think they both have a place in our squad.
McCrorie is 21 this month and needs to get games under his belt, either with us, or out on loan!

I dont fear that at all.
Kamara has lived here for a whilst, speaks the language, is used to the SPFL and it would appear how we play, Coulibaly started well and his style got people talking, but its become apparent that actually that isnt his style and hes just a physical player with not much for him.
You can tell just watching Kamara that he is designed to cut the ball out, control it and move it on, sometimes all at the same time.
Love him!

Few times in the second half I was wanting him to boot the ball to fuck but he just took that extra second to find one of our players, very good

Del reacted to Creampuff in Alfredo- Stay or Go
He’s gone in the Summer.
Use the money to replace him, buy/replace Kent, and bring in a player to sort our lack of creativity.
It'll be sore to lose him, but buy well and we’ll be a better team for it.

Del reacted to islanderbear84 in Season back on?
For me its a no. They've lost their manager not 50% of their playing squad and 8 points with 11 to go is a healthy lead.
Often teams come out stronger after these things too. New boss to impress etc.
I would be delighted to be proven wrong but our own inability to finish off 3 or 4 crucial games earlier in the season and apply the pressure on them doesn't suggest to me that we will be able to in the last 11.

There is lights at the top of the road but there is normally police on motorbikes there for a good while after the game.
We are always back in Larkhall before 6pm on Match days which I think it ok?

Hi mate,
We park in the Albion every game and its normally fine, they have stewards directing traffic now and even on a busy day we are normally in the car out the car park in 15mins
Depends if you are desperate to get back home but take your time after game, wee wander round the stadium etc and you will be good to go.

Del got a reaction from The Dude in Fringe and Reserve Players who deserve a shot
Kent is a strange one for me...
He looks very good in moments, but very rarely contributes for an entire match, or even for large parts of games.
Theres no doubt he has talent but we expect far too much of him, when he hasnt ever done anything to suggest he will "tear you apart, again" other than in sporadic moments.
As for Middleton he is the latest youth player to be subject to the Rangers support! 19 years old and people are saying he is awful and not performing, but thats only because they put him on such a high pedestal!

Does he need a wee strip of fabric on his arm to do that? If he's not going to set the heather alight then he'd be as well keeping his arse firmly planted on the bench.

Ultimately that's what the disappointment will come down to, there was a chance presented to really push them until the end but now they'll probably end up doing it with ease again

Del got a reaction from billscott in Satisfying and Fulfilling Expectations
Our squad isn't good enough to put up a season long sustained title challenge, whilst having 10-15 games in Europe.
We need to be finishing 2nd every season without fail, get to as many finals as possible and then build from there.
People expecting Rangers to win the league is a massive monkey on our back, that doesnt help, as we dont have the players or the squad to cope with at the moment!

Del got a reaction from ZZed in We are boring to watch.
I don't think its as easy to say that Kamara wasn't direct enough, Davis has no option etc...
Arfield, Jack, Kamara, Davis, Ejaria, Coulibaly, Halliday, Dorrans, McCrorie, Rossiter have all played in the center of midfield for us this season at various times and it's not a coincidence that with the main 4-5 players used in those position this season all show very little difference in terms of style of play. In my opinion its obvious that they are being told to play like that!
Our main method of attacking seems to be to overload wide areas and put balls into the box, so when the central midfielders get the ball, they look for the pass out wide, or to the other midfielder. Watching from the stands there is always acres of space in the number 10 position but we never have anyone near there as we arent interested in playing through the middle. We are very good in wide areas, which is probably the reason we focus on it, but its now becoming a bit of a hindrance, as we have no other way of playing and teams can now prepare for it, like St Johnstone did yesterday. Just get your midfielders wide, get them to double up with wingers/other midfielders and try to prevent our fullbacks and wingers getting the ball, whilst the traditional back 4 and defensive midfielder play narrow in the box to try and clear the crosses.
Obviously there will be times when we are able to create a chance doing this, but in recent games (Kilmarnock in the cup and yesterdayt especially) without Morelos, we look aimless and I wouldnt like to see the number of crosses we put into the box yesterday, only for it to be cleared!
Do we have the players to change the style of play at the moment? I am not sure we do!
