I had to pick from the 60’s team and it could have been Caldow, Greig or Henderson but I can never see past Slim Jim. Pure Class.

Feel as this deserves a seperate thread but my daughter Toni wanted to say thank you to everyone over the last week or 2 who has donated and has drew a wee picture to say thanks.
From myself genuinely can't thank everyone enough for your kindness, advice and help. Certainly between Xmas and just now is something we will never ever forget

Highland Light Infantry 1916, Jimmy Gordon, 2nd left
James Eadie Gordon (23 July 1888 – 22 November 1954) spent most of his career with Rangers. During the First World War, he was a Sergeant in the Highland Light Infantry.
Born in Saltcoats, Ayrshire, Gordon played with juvenile sides Thornwood Athletic and Renfrew Victoria (being selected for the Scotland Junior team) before joining Rangers during the 1906-07 season. He stayed with the Ibrox club until 1920, playing 315 Scottish Football League games and winning five championships in the process (388 appearances including all cups of the time). Versatile enough to play in any position on the pitch, he did just that playing in goals, in defence, in midfield and up front for Rangers.
His favoured role was right-half and this was the position he occupied most during his international career with the Scotland national team, which extended to ten caps between 1912 and 1920. Gordon also represented the Scottish League XI 15 times, and played in four unofficial wartime internationals and took part in an unofficial Scottish tour of North America in 1921.
Gordon "guested" for Fulham and Hearts during World War I and joined Dunfermline Athletic when he finally left Rangers in 1920. After his playing retirement, he and former Rangers colleague Jimmy Galt ran a series of billiard halls. He was included in the Rangers F.C. Hall of Fame on the 5th February 2007.

Hi guys, just a quick message to say that I won't be uploading any videos for the foreseeable future.
I have always kept my private life, and that of my familys, exactly that - private.
What I will say though, is that my wife hasn't been keeping great, that's why I've not made many videos this last couple of months or so.
There has been some games recently I haven't even seen, let alone make a video of.
And unfortunately the news we got this week wasn't what we were wanting, so this is just going to intensify.
So all my time, effort and energy will be going towards caring for her for now.
I know some of you like these videos, and are grateful for them, but I hope yous understand. Who knows, I might post one out of the blue, but they'll be rare for the foreseeable.
Cheers
Scott

He was just special, swagger and talent to back it up. He tore any opposition apart.
Mind you he had some pretty special players alongside him in those days as well.

Sad news about one of my heroes. When you think Eric played 407 competitive games for our club, and was never booked once. Also Eric never scored a goal from open play and was first Rangers player to represent his country at world cup finals. Eric is what you call a true Rangers man RIP.

As a UK Veteran, I am still entitled to military discounts across the USA. I am not entitled to many (there is a smaller scheme but its like 10% of Sky subscriptions and stuff like that) in the UK.
It's nice to be appreciated. Too many people in the UK could not care less about the very men and women sent out to protect them and their way of life.
I have a US Marine (also a vet) buddy that I met during Desert Storm (Op Granby for us Brits) and he gets appreciated everywhere he goes yet we get very little.
