I get the fact that you may not like him but his records speak for themselves and I didn't even mention how good he had us performing in Europe which raised the profile of our club and helped us financially.

He’s no gonna shag you mate.

I wouldn’t be adverse to having Gerrard back and appreciate I’m in the minority on that one - but he’s no Pep Guardiola or messiah like you are painting him out to be. And to call him arguably our greatest manager in our history because he went a season undefeated and won 1/9 trophies is frankly ridiculous.

  2. Really tough watch that today but unfortunately has been a recurring theme under Gio’s reign.

I think a lot of us have lost patience with Gio,that we are just waiting for the next draw domestically or loss in Europe before things get really toxic.

Could he survive a pumping by Napoli for example? I just feel the more games we have under him, the more the season becomes a write off - which is a strange feeling after a win today but the bigger picture is I have no confidence in him delivering a league title for us this season or any season.

Just signed a 3 year extension mate and Forest sacked most of the recruitment team.  Seems he had no input into the players brought in, which makes me wonder what input Gio has had.

I seen that mate but don’t think contract extensions mean anything at all in modern football - I’d expect Cooper to be given the boot soon if results don’t pick up.

My biggest issue with Gio isn’t really the recruitment and the new players. I hold Ross Wilson accountable for that. Where I do hold Gio responsible however is the current players which were here under Gerrard all of them have got worse. The football is dour as fuck as well. It felt such a chore watching that today - I don’t think I’m the only one

Probably along the lines of "We scored. Great job. Now lets go out there and ensure no one else gets injured".

At least I hope so as that is the only acceptable (not really) reason for this drop in application.

Where the fuck has Kent gone by the way?

The 2 games vs Liverpool have sickened me tbh. From even the social media team taking pictures of our captain at Anfield with a stupid grin on his face likes he’s at Disneyland to the 2nd half tonight, the whole game at Anfield.

Scunnered with Rangers at the minute and I hold the management responsible - no fight or energy, boring football. And too many players that either don’t want to be here and can’t be fucked or are just genuinely shite

Half of it is down to showmanship and trying to build up hype for fights and the other half is down to the fact that Fury has a head full of scrambled egg and cocaine.

Fury/AJ sells itself imo. Fury is actually making it a harder sell with all this nonsense

  6. Love Fury but ever since the Whyte fight he’s going further down in my estimation with every social media post - he puts on a show of saying he’s the “peoples champ” - believe me it’s all about him.

First of all he was definitely retiring then will fight for half a billion then will only fight AJ for free. In between this calling out Chisora when it transpires no contract was sent over for signing - even Fury admitted this himself on Saturday.

AJ has nothing to lose from taking this fight.

    1) nobody expects him to win

    2) he’s lost 3/5 last fights

    3) Fury would be the fresher fighter

Even Frank Warren said the Monday deadline was ridiculous. If somehow someone beat Fury - he would need the AJ fight more but until/if that happens we can expect more of these time wasting antics regarding this fight. Hopefully people/media don’t swallow it next time he tries it and not give it the air time he wants - maybe then we actually might see some movement.

  7. What a touching ceremony that was. We get a lot of things wrong as a nation but the world will be looking on enviously at the pageantry and organisation

Good to see the family get some privacy on the burial tonight so they can showcase any emotion which has succumbed to duty in recent days

On a side note, does anyone know how the coffin and Prince Phillips coffin get transferred from the vault to the George VI memorial chapel?

Have seen varying reports that both coffins are brought back to the surface and put in via the black headstone at ground level but not sure there is enough space to do that? Or are there tunnels in the vault which link to the memorial chapel? Sorry if it sounds a bit morbid but I’m fascinated by these royal vaults etc

Yes hugely, 5 points to 2 is a massive difference in terms of belief for us and doubt for them. With the unique aspect of this season we must only have another 8 or so league games till the transfer window opens. If we can get to there with at worst this gap then sign a goalie, central midfielder and a good forward/winger 👍

Unfortunately with the recent track record of Ross Wilson I wouldn’t hold my breath on him addressing those areas effectively or even at all. We will probably end up with a back up right back and that will be job done as far as I’m concerned.

Great to get the gap back to 2 points and put a slight dent into the goal difference but i think this puts even more pressure on Gio for the Hearts game. If you can imagine the scenes if we drop points there after being given a lifeline yesterday the little remaining goodwill he has with some sections of the support could evaporate.

I personally have no confidence in Gio delivering a league title with this squad regardless of yesterdays result. Hope im eating humble pie in May.

  9. Went to Windsor Castle this morning at 7am to pay some respects. Very somber and emotional mood, some of the messages as well on the cards were tough to read.

Not many car parking spaces already so if anyone from here is heading there I would advise to go soon.

Thankfully there is a heavy police presence as well as no doubt some people cannot be trusted to behave appropriately.
