It was only when the Scottish Football Museum was being established in the mid 1990s that a guy called Ken Gibb tried to track it down.

He eventually found it but because the cup is silver and hadn't been cleaned for 60 years it was pot black. It took a lot of elbow grease to polish it back to the beautiful condition it's in now

I don't disagree about the likeness but I still think it's the White Rhino.  Old books were notorious for getting names and photos mixed up.   However, that is just my opinion.

Although there is a very strong likeness with big Corkie, is this not Don "The Rhino" Kitchenbrand?

Time someone at Rangers woke up to this total waste of money.

Fife does like a howler v the taigs. Abysmal 4 games against them in the last 2 seasons. On paper we should be beating them and Glasgow city but one win out of 2 seasons v the "big teams" isnt good enough 

Tactics are piss poor. His two 8s should be ten yards further up the park. 

What a waste of time and money.  The quality of football is truly awful and God knows what the Rangers coach does.  Tactics are a joke.

Frankly I've no confidence in our management team doing anything positive to turn our form around.   We have been poor to awful since the start of the season.  As someone else remarked, it's a wonder that we are actually still top.  We are supposed to be a club bringing in good prospects, improving them, getting good performances from them and then selling on at a profit.   We haven't done that with a single player since Gerrard and his backroom staff took over.  We should have sold some players in the summer and refreshed the squad.  Instead we have brought in flops and will struggle to sell them to anyone.   Our player values will drop with every bad result and performance.  

Goldson should have been given an ultimatum at the end of last season, either sign a contract or find a new club (preferably the latter for me).  I'd have sold Hagi and Kamara.   I'd never have signed Simpson and Bassey.  Nor would I have signed Lundstram, Bacuna, Ofoborh.  The on-loan Itten doesn't fit our style of play so no wonder he's out on loan..  No idea what position Sakala is meant to be but he is no  substitute for Morelos.  The squad needed to be refreshed  and that didn't happen.  We have missed a great opportunity and Ross Wilson and others are responsible.  Tonight's result isn't the reason for this post, it could have been said weeks ago.

Fuck knows but its well past the time him and his backroom army got their collective fingers out, identify the problems and get them sorted. We have been shite since the start of the season and if truth be told plenty of games last season when we were doing just enough, well just enough wont cut it Im afraid, couldnt care less about our current league position because looking at our next set of fixtures we could be in real trouble.

We can’t drop goldson because there’s no one to take his place,bassey is no better than a poor barasic ,hagi is a luxury we can’t afford as he is so one paced it’s embarrassing. Gerrard is absolutely clueless and is either unwilling or unable to change a system that every team in the country has sussed how to combat and his use of substitutes is most often bizarre.

There must be a really high percentage of the time we have with the ball where we actually do fuck all with it. Same recycled shite over and over 

Too slow in possession. Take too many touches before moving the ball on.
Too slow closing down opponents.
Generally lethargic all over the pitch. 

Gerrards issue by sticking with what he already had despite possible warning signs of stagnation and regression from some. Could've sold and refreshed the squad but instead we celebrated not selling Patterson only for him to sit on the bench week after week while the captains form nose dives.
He won't change a thing. Plan A or Plan A better.

And very little has changed, worse if the truth be told.

Said all season he doesn't know what to do to change things. It's not tonight we've not created anything, it's been all season and not one thing ha changed about the setup.
