And here we are at our 4th league game of the season, playing against Kilmarnock who haven't found much success so far in the campaign. Which unfortunately for them will be continuing this Friday. Will likely be a debut match for Joe Garner, as well as a possible feature from Josh Windass (says his dad on Twitter anyway). So should give some lads a rest. 
Rugby Park being the only 3G surface in the SPFL, which is a pain as well as know since last time Waghorn picked up a nasty knock that put him out of commission for a big chunk of the Championship Campaign. However this is a great segway into the next bit! 
 
** Last Meeting **
The last time we had met Kilmarnock in a competitive game was the fifth round of the Scottish cup. The game would go over two legs as the first meeting at ibrox ended in a 0-0 draw. Then on a dark and wet night, Waghorn would be fouled which would grant us a penalty and thus an early lead. However this would be bittersweet as this saw Waghorn injured who had to be replaced by Nicky Clark. Things were made worse as Kilmarnock equalised, and things looked grim. Then Barrie McKay crossed a ball into the box, finding the left foot of Nicky Clark who promptly found the back of the net!

As far as I'm aware he's kept out of trouble the last few years (apart from that stamp on Kayal, but he swears that was an accident, and let's face it we all enjoyed that ).

Just back from a run. Hailstones, sunshine, hailstones again, high winds and then sunshine again.
Think for the game i'll wear shorts and t-shirt with waterproofs over the top, just to cover all eventualities.
 

some may disagree with me here but i think Clark should have been given that penalty. he scored a perfectly good goal which was wrongly taken away from him and imo the right decision there would have been to give him the opportunity to get it back. Strikers are always judged on goals and its amazing what they can do for confidence, instead of perhaps leaving the park on a high hes walking off feeling robbed.

I always fancy our chances against anyone. If we were playing Brasil I'd go for 2-1 us. I am always optimistic and have predicted 4-0. But... after reading the thread, I am reminded how teams play against us now. RFCRobertson is spot on...
It's hard to break down teams that insist on putting 11 men in their own box and just wait. Can't blame them though... It's up to us to find solutions.

We need to take our chances (Liked Clark's goal vs hivs). That was a good example where we should always score. Too many times, we squander chances. We get it away with it most times...but next season, we won't.
So.. starting today.. we take our chances.
