Depends how Sky’s schedule is looking.

If it leaves them short now and/or leaves them overbooked at the end of January then I’d imagine they’d not be best pleased.

Places like Sky are pretty slick operations when it comes to scheduling, it’s not as straightforward as it looks to the consumer; there’s a strategy to what contracts they negotiate and what will be available when; and I just can’t imagine they’ll be chuffed at moving around 15 hours of coverage at a few weeks notice for no obvious reason - not least because the smaller attendances will likely boost Sky subscriptions and viewer numbers!

Agreed, I’d imagine not pleased would be about right however not that long into a new deal it’ll all be very ‘partnership’ approach to matters - 4 games or so, I’m not sure they’ll be overly concerned or stretched for it to work. Hope I’m wrong as we all know what this is actually about and I’m sick of integrity fc acting with none and getting whatever they want.

Your last sentence is a interesting point, they’ll have a view right enough in what opportunities closed door presents.

I’d imagine the issue isn’t with SPFL being able to change the break or whatever, but that the TV scheduling of these games has already been agreed.

I can’t imagine Sky agreeing to a contract where the games can be moved at the 11th hour leaving them with their dick in their hands and nothing on the air.

Many live games is it we are talking about though ? 3/4?

Postpone that volume of games until the last couple of weeks in January, I’m not sure they will be overly fussed

If they do have sense, a bit like everyone should be asking themselves the question would be...what if they can’t be played when they envisage

The notion of postponing games that could be played during a pandemic is just nuts, like I say though, a few games of Scottish football, if it’s what the league want I’m not sure sky will be bothered - the league will be packaging all it up pretty for them ‘for the fans’

Not only that but the scum could invest heavily in new players before the rescheduled old firm game. More players fit and new players including the better defenders they obviously need. Cheating fucks.

Exactly. And if I’m not mistaken(?) the league has changed rules to ensure work permits etc can be fast tracked - well ain’t that fucking handy.

Why not do it properly? If covid is going to be around forever play football in the spring, summer and into early autumn every year. That way people are meeting in large crowds during times when the NHS is not as busy.

We could also ban those shite artificial pitches as poor weather wouldn't be an excuse to keep them.

As it stands the scum and other clubs want to delay the competition and award tainted titles as it suits them.

Fast forward one month from now, fans are locked out but they have their squad issues sorted (and they probably will).....they’ll have no hesitation in wanting the game to be played.

To make it even more perfect the report states the restrictions will kick in after Boxing Day.

I've no idea if football crowds will be hit and would guess that if they were then Boxing Day fixtures would be included, but how hilarious would it be if we got a full house on Boxing Day and then the crowds were banned. I seriously think some heads could actually explode in timland

This starts to feel more likely for me ….BCD after Boxing Day

    Embarassing

No a cup win, no a old firm, didn't get them top of the league

just a dodgy goal after 7 minutes into 6 minutes stoppage

Also this might be daft, shouldn't that be a foul to the County player for ralston doing that? Like I'm sure ive seen free kicks given for that before

Seen it a glance and thought he was climbing all over him. Defending was fuckin rank though. A spare man and one last set piece to defend yet ended up in that position.

I always wondered if that was the case, but he has been so hellish to listen to sometimes I have been doubtful. Maybe trying to hard to hide it ?

That guy called you up to tell you you’d won the lottery you’d remember how he went right through yi, voice like cats fighting.

Beglin and Drury were/are excellent but I don't think there was an alternative

Pretty sure there was on that run, can’t recall but there was a choice to make between channels……as you say Beglin and Drury were top notch. From memory they even had somebody pitch-side at times who you could tell was genuinely caught up in it.

Perhaps not every game or perhaps I’m talking bollucks as getting older now and struggling to remember. Pretty sure we won yesterday.

No, it is because they have to be sentenced for what they are convicted of and what would have been the sentence at the time of the offences.

Had Torbett been convicted of more recent offences, he would probably die in jail.

    Did not know that

Seems crazy, I’d think the sentences changed as recognition that they weren’t tough enough in respect to the severity of the crime and rightly so.... should be irrelevant when you committed the crime.
