You don't sit in, you go and press the shit out of them and they will buckle, much like what we did. You can't sit in against a team that will go full pelt for the 1st half, they overwhelmed us and got their just rewards.

Wrong tactics, wrong setup, square pegs in round holes.

knowing our weaknesses and their strengths he concluded that camping in our own box whilst letting them swarm all over us was a good idea?

    Fuck me

I’m not saying we didn’t give thought to how they start but what we seen was absolutely pathetic.

GvB does not inspire me at all.

Hate to say it mate and hope there is a different face in the dressing room but he is uninspiring and boring to listen to - even after that last night it’s position neutral. I get that’s  just the way some are but I’d rather see a raw reaction that assures he’s a stung as we are.

Still absolutely furious after that last night but can we really judge Gio until he gets his own players in? Majority of those players haven’t looked at it all season. Massive summer rebuild ahead…

He’s inherited a squad that were champions.

Give him to the break and time to work with squad seemed a fair theory

    6 point lead - gone
Undefeated in old firms - gone
    Undefeated in league - gone
    Winning mentality - gone

If they can’t play his way (what ever that is) he adapts until he can evolve squad?

Don’t think anyone would say there was no issues before he came in but the drop in standards over last two months is shocking to see. They look like a squad that don’t give a f for each other again (staring at the ground as guys like Hayes and Brown bully us was a glaring alarm bell)

What was the tactic in the opening 15 last night? Just let them keep swinging and hope they get tired? - hugely concerning

Yes I’m as hurt as everyone else on here but there is ONE point in it.

Theyve spent £40m their manager has been in the job longer than ours.

The Hearts game is massive now. It was more than disappointing tonight but the players and us as fans simply can’t give up.

We’re in a title race and it’s in our own hands. Our first half was embarrassing but we’ve more than enough to win this league.

In the law of averages they were eventually going to win against us at some point and in the era of 4 games against each other it’s very few and far between that the champions go undefeated in this fixture

Ryan Jack if he can stay fit looked a huge positive.

I’m disappointed but not disheartened tonight think it might be the kick we need to move on

This isn’t about tonight in isolation. Far from it.

  5. Only one point that pretty much everyone on here agreed on today was do not sit to deep from outset and invite them on.....punters can see it and we go out there and do that .....and by the way despite being that deep this fucker still gets that space

Honestly I’m gonna take some convincing Gio’s got it, that was a shambles and he’s a McGregor performance away from a hideous scoreline

  6. The logical thinking was we wouldn’t see Gio’s team till after the break. We have now seen a six point lead blown, a 2.5 year old firm record blown and a undefeated (how many games) record blown ......honestly, the alarm bells are deafening.

We are regressing in every way, it couldn’t be clearer.

    Seriously worried about him.

I couldn’t watch the game on Saturday and hold my hands up that I don’t have a clue about how Diallo plays

    Is he quick?

Haven’t bothered watching the highlights other than his goal and was very surprised at how small he looks

Reckon he’ll get smashed early doors and the rest of his game will be down to how he reacts

Bags of skill, quick including acceleration and seems happy to sit on line or come inside. The boys nerves will never have been tested like this but if he can keep that together I do not see how he fails to impact this game tonight.

I just quickly watched some highlights there. I was wrong about it raining, it looked dry but the wind was certainly swirling.

The Wallace goal - yep, not a single one of our players claimed it had gone in. Because it was just inside the post I think it was pretty difficult to tell from the naked eye it was a goal.

Forgot about David Healy's tackle

Definitely pissing down at points that night, was right down the front and have a memory of being soaked, visibility poor it was that bad from memory? - Can’t be we both recall it wrong in the same way.

Horrible night, I had made the school boy error of not paying attention to where the bus was .....you can imagine thereafter.

Actually think it's way too many stupid individual errors that cost us today rather than tactics Otherwise it's a dominant performance and a comfortable win.

There is truth in that but someone has to account for why we do not start with the intensity we showed in the second half and tbh teams like that can’t get near us.

Is it not encouraged or is the message not clear enough as it’s every fucking game

Gio for me seems hell bent to do what early day SG did and feel the need to have a master plan to beat teams like this...go for the jugular ffs.

More of a concern is his personal choices - Itten ? Jack of bench midweek but Lundstum today  ....wtf ?

Twice in the lead and sitting back. Fuckin shocking

That’s at least Motherwell Hearts Aberdeen and RC where we have now dropped points from a winning position

Start games in totally the wrong manner, at 1-0 up blow them away and play with the intensity we showed at start of second half

Handed momentum to them now and we deserve it. Attitude all wrong.

Tav, Alfredo and Aribo all one off

    Goldson 2 off

These 4 have 3 bookings less than the tarriers entire squad

Cheers - where can I see these stats ? Official site?

For someone who flies into tackles (often studs up) he's been rather fortunate with bookings - ZERO in 16 league games

Tav has 5, 2 of which weren't even fouls and is 1 away from a suspension

Like I say, fortunate lad is Tony

Tav is one off? - did not know this. Not ideal all things considered
