Do we still have the Patterson money though? the fact that we didn't bring in Souttar for the reported 100K when we had 2 CH's struggling for fitness makes me think that money was needed elsewhere.

I'd be surprised if there was much left of the Patterson money. That along with the fact it's in installments and addons. 
The Souttar issue was Hearts wanting the sell on % really. 

Have to think a chunk of that money was used for Ramsays 4 month stint, Diallo, Sands and the right back. A few million at least

I’d be tempted with that too. Braga played such a high line last time, and Roofe just isn’t working in the role.

I really dont know what type of team to pick for this one tbh. Might be worth looking at Sakala on the counter. Roofe and Aribos recent performances have been dire so I wouldn't start them.

THIS! The longer the silence and utter inaction of those in power to do something about it, the more I think this is the main reason for not taking this further. Politicians should not be allowed to NOT to respond to questions about it, FFS!!!
We all love our clubs but it should never come before the safety and protection of children. As much as 'their' support would seek to protect them it should still not get in the way of justice. This leaves me thinking they're other more self serving reasons for this not to be taken further. The skeletons in the closet of the club and those who seek to protect themselves is mind boggling. In any day and age sitting on your hands in silence should not be allowed and accountability sought but no one in a position to do so seems to be interested, why??
Once we get an honest answer to that question it will all become clear. Who the white knight will be who removes the scales from the eyes of the general public seems as unclear and as far away as it's ever been.

The one thing I'm in agreement with, I have never ever been in agreement with the connotation of "old firm" never have wanted any association whatsoever to do with those filthy bastards.
