Don't let that horrific decision fool you, barring that mistake by their CB for the disallowed goal we have been absolutely fucking horrific against the worst scum team in years.

Kilmarnock didn’t matter?
he needs to “die” every game he plays ffs
hate this staunch shite.

Post Walter second time around we seem to have given up on the concept of putting a team out to keep things tight and scrape a narrow victory.
Or had football changed and it's not possible to play like that anymore? I'm not sure.
Either way PSV were very clearly better than us, we rode our luck in the first leg, we were very lucky last year to put them out, all that luck in our favour was bound to catch up with us eventually. We had to try and scrape a narrow 1-0, or else just keep it tight and maybe even play for pens.

Cyriel Dessers promises Rangers he'll 'die on the pitch' if that's what it takes to beat celtic
I'm not just saying this, but I was honestly going to post it's only a matter of time before he starts giving it the WATP patter, a la Caixinha. And the moment he does we know it's game over for him. I actually canny believe he's come out with that already.
Expect loads of huffing and puffing, launching into challenges etc to collect as many staunch points as he can to deflect from his lack of abilities.

All I'll say is 5 years ago we played that lot, with this defence.
Tomorrow, we line up with that same defence (-Katic, +Souttar).

I agree. I’m one of the few people who think we should have kept Kent. And tbh, with our current strikers, I wouldn’t be against picking up the phone to Alfie 😂. I do think we have a favourable group compared to previous years though. I wouldn’t actually even mind dropping to the conference as it’s a winnable competition - although obviously I would prefer not to.

Looks like a good run in EL is just as good as if not better than getting to CL and getting horsed .
Dodged a bullet 😂

He speaks well in interviews, is articulate and makes clear statements. Would be utterly bizarre if he's genuinely coming up with the right ideas but then not communicating that to the squad well enough.

Beale was good at sniping from the side-line when Gio was the manager and did a lot of talking. Doesn't seem to have much more to offer bar that.

To me Dessers is like a wind turbine, static, flailing arms and producing very little.

Gman36 reacted to KeyserSoze in Of all the new players
Beale thought only 3 were good enough to start tonight.
Our biggest game of the season so far and the millions spent on nine players - his starting 11 consisted of two outfield players new to the club.
just two
rebuild? Is it fuck, it’s an old trick of bringing in loads and hopefully one or two will be good enough.
cast your net and hope there’s a blue fin Tuna in amongst the haddocks
Everyone said the players coming in had to be starting 11 quality.
He unconsciously admitted he’s fucked it by playing that starting 11.

Gman36 reacted to Jimfanciesthedude in Our wage bill
Not the point though,
Any player coming here from outwith scotland that's in a decent league (and not the arse end of a country's football tier) will need a decent wedge to come here
PSV can sign players on lesser wages than we do because holland is a better place to be in, better league to play in, is much more respected by international managers and has proven to be a successful pathway to top leagues for players
We can go on about how we are a big club, big history, the name Rangers is known across the world, but unless you are a fan, absolutely no player gives a fuck about that when they know its scotland they'll be playing in and staying in
Anothee example 2 players, totally identical in ability and position, literallt exactly the same player
We go for one and PSV go for the other, bet you a fiver it costs us more wages to convince our guy to sign for us than PSV have to fork out
-
Gman36 reacted to Somemightsay7 in Our wage bill
We have about 30 first team players.
We were told last season our squad was too big and we had to reduce it. Our squads bigger now than it was at the end of last season.
