The narrative continues, Morelos is a dirty player etc.
But the facts speak for themselves, one red card (and a very harsh one at that) in his career, proves this isn't the case.
Morelos needs better protection from the referees as he's often the victim of poor tackles and provocation.
Last year it was Ryan Jack's turn to be unfairly treated by referees and the media, it appears this seaon it's Morelos's turn.

I'm glad SG didn't get drawn in to the timing of the semi-final fiasco. It doesn't affect our game and refusing to speak about it makes the other 3 teams seem like moaning cunts looking for an excuse if they lose.

Ffs, he's being treated differenlty to any other player. We can all see it. The media won't bring it up as it's not in their interest. He had, what, 9 yellow cards last season? That's less than 1 card every 3 games. Similar this year. Sure, he could not react but when he's getting kicked all over the place and being ref'd to a different standard what can he do? Ever try not getting angry when your pissed off? Not so fucking easy.

Been a fan of his since he first appeared for us. Like many, he suffered badly under poor management at times last season. 
But today I saw something that astonished me more than any piece of play we have seen from him so far.
After his goal, which made it 5-1 with 10mins to go, he had a quick celebration then ran to Zander Clark to try and get the ball back. It was like we were chasing down a cup tie or an aggregate score. You just knew he felt there was another couple of goals available for us. 
It just proved once again, the mentallity this team has right now, and nobody shows that more than DC when he is doing things like this.

Didn’t offer much apart from work rate against Villareal? Get real! 1. There’s players who have near enough legendary status almost purely on workrate. 2. It was a backs to the wall performance, and he scored with a very good finish! 
Regardless of opinions of him you can’t possibly fault the contribution he has made since returning.
