We need 5 or 6 real quality additions and we need them to be mainstays in the team. A lot of these players could be decent squad options.
Look at Walter Smith's team last time round, he had players like broadfoot, Healy, edu, Novo, Whittaker etc...
If you surround that with the quality of bougherras, jelavics, davis, ferguson, etc they bring everyone else up.
Don't get me wrong this team have been shitebags this year and I'm not sticking up for them, but I still feel quality over quantity is the most important thing this summer.

Easily offended group out in force again, he gets some amount of abuse and criticism and when he basically tells us to shut up we get our panties in a knot about it. Just because we pay our money every week to watch them doesn't mean we as a support don't deserve some critics some times, we are too quick to get on the players backs these days. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Compared to last season the guy has improved massively, yes he's not as consistent as we would like but the important thing is there's improvement. He'll definitely need to play better next year if we bring in better players.

If that is what is motivating Windass to prove himself to the fans, then fair play to him. It certainly worked for him last night, as with most of the team, he has been inconsistent but I don't think he deserves to be singled out for abuse.

Agreed. It’s corrupt to the core, but I’ve always been in the ‘back the team, not the regime’ camp for Rangers.
