  1. Nah mate, looks like we're stuck with him. Total joke of joke of a signing. Just waiting for the plethora of posts saying "there's a player in there" now. Ffs.
  2. Exaxctly mate and that's what pisses me off. Motherwell will probably give them a harder game in the final than we did yesterday.
  3. McCrorie should never have been put in that position in the first place. The fault lies fully with Murty putting us behind the 8 ball at the very start by playing Halliday and not using McCrorie as a defensive midfielder. Shocking decision.
  4. Tbf, I think we all knew exactly what we were getting when we signed him in the summer - a 'work in progress' player. If we get offered a decent fee for him in the transfer window, then then we should take definitely take it and reinvest it back into the team. We could still end up getting a good return from him in the end.
  5. Agree with the Murty comment. A terrific bloke but just not the man to take us forward in challenging for the league. And I actually thought Docherty was one of our better players today despite not even being great. We were just shocking today.
  6. Fucking hell, if true it means our training ground is going to be missing a traffic cone come the summer.
  7. Nah, completely disagree. He just completely fluffs his lines in the really big games that matter - the games with real pressure. If he really wants a Premier league club to come in for him in the summer, then he's got to score against the scum in the two games we've still to play them. Scoring against teams like kilmarnock and mothererwell will only attract Championship clubs from down south, at best.
  8. Yip. Nothing new here: Dembellend scores his chance yet Morelos misses his. Windass resorts back to type after his goal. Cardoso is simply awful. Rodgers makes changes from the side lines to win the game with ten men, whilst Murty stands idle. Same old same old.
  9. Good post. Love or loathe Murty, this is the bit I can't get my head round: Was he indeed the 'lazy option' as you put it, or the 'cheap option' (like McCoist) ...or was he only appointed because the board were trying to save face and didn't want 'knocked back' again by another managerial target they went for?
  10. Thought he did okay tbh; not great, but not bad either...Will be interesting to see how he does when he has Wallace behind him and he gets up to speed as it's early days for him.
  11. For me, improvement can only really be measured at the end of the season if we finish second in the league quite comfortably....at the moment it's looking like another fucking struggle to knock the vile dons off that spot. Hopefully, we will get some players back from injury for the run-in...
  12. Agree with the comments - definitely one of the better signings this season. He's still a bit raw, but will be some player when he hits his peak. And I think he would have scored even more so far if we had a better option than Herrera beside him. Got a feeling lots of clubs from down south will be sniffing around looking to buy him in the summer...hope we get one more season out of him at the very least.
  13. This. Players like Forrester are 'ten--a-penny' in the lower leagues of England, and he would have bitten our hands off for a two year deal. He done a decent job for us in the Championship (his true level), but the decision to offer him a long contract was truly bizarre to say the least.
  14. This. Morelos put in a tremendous shift today, but his link-up play was very poor, and I never felt confident at all that he was going to score. If he really wants to play at the very top level in England, then he's going to have to 'up' his game in the big games that count, and not just score against the so-called 'diddy' teams in the league. Overall, he has turned out to be a good signing for us though...
  15. He's been one of the better signings we've made the last few seasons - well worth the money. Aye, he's played some shockers this season, but I would rather have him in our team running down the right wing than MOH any day.
  16. Said a couple of days ago that he should not start today as he will be blowing out of his arse after only 15 mins. I actually felt sorry for his team mates today who had to do a lot more running in the middle of the park just to cover for the guy. Lets hope we can reach an agreement to release him and use his wages elsewhere. If he stays, then use him as an impact sub for the last 15 - 20 mins only.
  17. I stuck up for Herrera at the start of the season, but not now. I hope we shift him on in January as he's been below par for too many games. I would rather we had kept Joe Garner to be honest, than sign this guy. I wasn't a big fan of Garner, but I think he would have offered a lot more up front with Morelos than Herrera does. Another baffling signing by Pedro.
  18. Nah, he's an impact player all day long and only capable of bringing something to the game the last 10 -15 mins or so. There's no way he should start against the scum at the weekend, as he will be blowing out of his backside after only 20 mins and we would be effectively one man down. Dreadful signing.
  19. Yip, it was a much of a muchness yesterday of who gets the "worst player" title. Fucking dreadful display.
  20. Yip, and therein lies our problem. With the exception of a few players in our squad, we are no better than the other teams in the league (outwith the scum). The league table says it all. The only difference is we are paying much higher wages than the rest, so will find it difficult to shift them on!
  21. Aye, but not as bad as the poor bear who got Pedro's name tattooed on his arm following a lad's piss-up in Ibiza!
  22. Agree 100% with the OP on this. For me, Pedro was a 'dead man walking' since the farce against Progres away - a team I had never even heard of before, and where he got completely out-foxed and out-played by a more savvy manager. We've now got some good players in the squad, and with the right man at the helm and some good transfer dealings in January, I'm sure we can go on a good run, and secure second spot no problem.
  23. Aye I've referred to the ref in my post, and if I want to mention our performance too, then that's my decision whether you like it or not.
  24. The ref completely bottled it today on several occasions, but there's no way we can use his gross incompetence to paint over a shocking all round performance by our team during the 90 mins. Awful.
