Can you imagine Barasic and Goldson being allowed to defend, hide, duck of of balls in the air. Goughie, Bomber and Davie would have kicked them up and doon the shop.

So we may have a more than decent Centre back who isn't injured, I'm getting excited.....but i want to see a ten game run put together first!

I completely and utterly understand the gulf in class means this was a tall order, but the first half showed we could compete, so there has to be questions asked as to why the arse fell out the team with Goldson going off. He's a massive loss, but others then need to step up to the plate.

There's been plenty on here slated Goldson over the years and wanted Mr ever-present dropped.
Unfortunately we might see what that actually means to us given it looks like he's picked up a bad one.
Tonight it was 1-1 when he left the park. 6 fucking goals were subsequently scored against us.
I hope to fuck he recovers quickly cos I've got a really bad feeling that if he doesn't then we're going to find out the painful way how important he really is to us.

Early looked really promising, but im now thinking send him back to Bayern in January

Davies looks like a player that's still trying to build up his match fitness. It's very evident that his start to the season has been stop-start.. 
I think he will come good though. 

McGregor - Outstanding, should be no more debate about him still being our number one keeper.
Central defece: Goldson - was superb, marshalled both guys beside him superbly. King - despite the penalty, looks to be a tremendous prospect, a few great last ditch tackles. Ben Davies - had a fantastic game, looks like a player we paid good money for.
Given we've conceded too many goals this year in the league this should give us a decent platform to build upon. Going forward is still a problem, but tonight thought we did really very well.

Goldson looked at his most comfortable in the middle of a back 3, which is fine if the full backs play 20 yards further forward.
 
Matondo and Sakala have reminded us there is better options than kent.

Thought Leon King did well.

The difference when Sakala came on to Tillman was night and day. Someone actually sprinting at them
