I've never lived in Scotland. I'm from mid Wales, during my youth I always was hounded by Welsh nationalists in this area and I hated it. I've never connected with the celtic Welsh identity. And always seen my self as British rather than Welsh. I have  Welsh parents. English born. Scottish and Northern Irish family .
Because there isn't really any local clubs in my area. I didn't really support a team for the early years of my life. I'd go to watch Aston Villa with my grandad. But that was it really.

When I saw Rangers play for the first time in like 2007-2008. I fell Iove with the culture of the club. Whilst most of my friends supported top 6 EPL teams. I'd actually found a club that spoke to my identity, A club that I loved and wanted to be apart of no matter what  And ever since then I've been Rangers through and through

There is nothing I love more than Rangers FC. I travel up from Wales whenever I can. And Ill ways stick with this club. Through the 3rd div. Through annything.

Rangers means my identity. Rangers is who I am. And I'm so thankful for the Rangers support for accepting me into the club with open arms.
Whilst I wasn't born into a Rangers family. I've felt like I was chosen to support this great club. Without Rangers life would be horrible.

RowX reacted to Laudrup1984 in Neil McCann On Sectarian Abuse Received When His Dad Passed Away
Neil McCann has lifted the lid on the sectarian abuse he was subjected to on the day Dundee and celtic paid tribute to his late father.
His dad Eddie passed away at the end of 2017 and both teams held a minute's applause for Eddie McCann before the Hoops' 2-0 win in the Boxing Day fixture.
But McCann has revealed he was STILL subjected to vile taunts from celtic supporters at Dens Park during the contest and has suffered since the day he joined Rangers.
Sectarian abuse is a hot topic in Scottish football with Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke and striker Kris Boyd victims of disgusting chants over the past eight days.
Clarke and Boyd put on a united front at a press conference last week and Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and chairman Dave King strongly spoke out against the perpetrators and believe there is no place in Scottish football for such behaviour.
The former Scotland international, who is a Catholic, believes he has always been a target for abuse because of his religion and the team he played for.
McCann, who won nine trophies during his time at Ibrox, admits now is the time for things to change once and for all.
The former Dens Park boss told BBC Sportsound: "Being Catholic and signing for Rangers was a big story.
"It wasn't just myself but my family were subjected to lots of abuse. It is unacceptable, it's totally unacceptable.
"I grew to ignore it and to be honest it's water off a duck's back, it doesn't bother me.
"But now we are in a situation in life where people are not ignoring it anymore. That goes for sexual orientation, gender and race.
"People are now saying 'enough is enough'.
"Now I've been subjected to all sorts and some of the shouts which have come off the back of it are pretty despicable and shouldn't happen - they have no place in the game of football and no place in the general public.
"There's not much you can do about it, it's difficult to turn when you're out with family - that's when it becomes beyond personal.
"That's when it hurts when you're with a member of your family, especially your children.
"Even when we held a minute's applause when my father passed away, we were playing celtic on BT Sport.
"I was subjected to the exact same song that Steve Clarke got when celtic scored their first goal.
"That happened then and nothing was said about it."
McCann admits despicable chants and taunts have followed him throughout his career but says the abuse hasn't been limited to just celtic supporters.
He added: "It's not just one club here, it's not just two clubs - it happens at other clubs as well.
I've been called 'the H**' and an 'orange b******' and all the rest of it and I'm Catholic.
"When I played football I had no interest whatsoever in the religious set-up or anybody's ideas or gripes.
"I went to play football and chose to play for Glasgow Rangers and it was a huge honour to play for such a prestigious club.
"I have everything - I remember saying at the time I wasn't a Rangers fan when I signed but from that onwards I would become one because when someone is paying you to play for them then you give everything for that team.
"I would like to think the abuse that I take is purely for that fact that I have gone to Rangers, and I'm talking about celtic fans directly, because I'm a Catholic and played for Rangers and I have some right that I shouldn't sign for that club and further my career.

Tbf, the magic hat song came from the supporters, and ver near everyone jumped on that bandwagon.
The 55 thing prob came from their, the supporters. Prob was too big for him, and the day we went to the tattie bowl 4-3-3 confirmed it.
walter with far better players and experience would never have tried that.
I’m amazed he tried that, and even more so in DW letting him.
i always thought Barton would never have had a meltdown for no reason.  I’m positive Barton was right at the time, maybe went about it the wrong way.
dont wish Warburton any harm, as he gave Us football we should have been playing all those years in those lower divisions.
Rodgers probably couldn’t believe his luck that day when we rocked up set up for a thrashing.
That heavy defeat set us on a chain of a few defeats like that.

Is there actually a point to your post?  Of course there was a player there but sadly his alcohol addiction put paid to his football career for a considerable period and perhaps will end it entirely.    I'm sorry for the guy and sorry that we didn't do our homework on him before we paid the transfer fee and his wages.  We saw a few glimpses of what could have been and if you check his play on Youtube you can see he had talent.  Pedro and our board cost us a lot of cash not just with Pena.  (Cardoso & Herrera)

See the problem here is there is an inherent difference between a Scottish “catholic” who loves glorifying terrorism, declares his love of the IRA and pretends he’s a republican freedom fighter and just an actual Catholic, of which we have had plenty over the years. I’d even argue one of the best left pegs we’ve ever seen at Ibrox came from a Catholic player.
That’s the difference. The thing that annoys me is he’s socialising with tarrier players. I get that was a thing back in the day but the bitterness and hatred is off the scale now, so it’s a no from me in that regard

Nobody really caused any trouble though. Saw a wee guy run up to Alfredo and he gave him a wee hug and a pat on the head.
If we're getting shite for that when Hibs got fuck all for Hampden we're through the looking glass here.

Morelos is going to the top, he’s only 22, full Colombian international and improving all the time.
When we do sell him we better make sure we put in a decent sell on clause like the unmentionables always manage to!

First thing he needs to do is get a proper captain in, then build a team of winners, right now his team has to many losers, six league games against celtic, Aberdeen, hibs and Kilmarnock and won none of them, if he can't show he can change it, he'll be offski.
