Met Bougherra in Braehead, i think he was with his whole family there was about 20 of them :lol: was a few days before an Old Firm game though so he might have brought them over for that and I always see Kyle Lafferty in Silverburn, he's never out that place :lol:

I've met a few randomly over the years. Oleg Kuznetsov in Asda when I was about 11, Ray Wilkins did the prize giving ceremony at my BB's so I got to shake the man's hand when I was around 9 or 10. I met Rod Wallace a few times as we had a friend in common when he was at Rangers. Also met Walter Smith and Alex McLeish in George's Square a few years ago when Walter was Scotland Manager and Alex was Gers Manager. They were both out with their wives but took the time to speak to me and get their photo taken with me. I've still got it somewhere on an old phone, I'll need to find it.

Haven't met any the last few years, but always used to see them around town few years back when I was younger

Met Amo, Mols, R De Boer, and Lovenkrands in Cube (not sure what it's called these days)

Nearly knocked Claudio Cannigia over one time on Woodlands road, he'd parked and was nipping into a shop.

Used to see Lovenkrands in my gym and at Morrisons in Anniesland all the time.

The strangest encounter I ever had with a (former) Rangers player was when I had my daughter, who must have been about one and a bit and Tom Forsyth wanted us to pose with some desert thing for the Evening Times so he could take a photograph- that was a bit surreal! Gladly the photo didn't make it to the paper! Had it not been a former Rangers I would have told the guy to hop it, but how can yu turn down that man?!

Willie Henderson and Jim Baxter sat next to them in the stand when I was a kid. Met Baxter in his pub years later. Willie Johnstone in a pub in Birmingham. Alex Ferguson in a barbers in Garscube Road. Velicka and Aaron in Morrisons in Bearsden Road.

Goram, Hateley, Laudrup and Gattuso just for beginners.

Sir Walter and Donald Findlay QC also get honourable mentions :pipe:

I can top that with Salim Kerkar in Morrisons, the bastard told me he was going to be playing against Dundee Utd that week! :(

Tank of a guy!

Goram and Hateley were spot on, Gattuso still isn't great at English (and he's absolutely tiny) and Laudrup is probably the most handsome guy I've ever met;

Bumped into Barry Ferguson in Carphone Warehouse at the Glasgow Fort and just started gabbing to him,was there with his son,he was quite chatty and i wasn't expecting that to be honest.Met Alan Hutton and Steven Thompson openeing the Rangers Shop at the Fort as well.I also used to work in East Kilbride at my bosses farm and Clyde FC used to train there,my old boss is best mates with Coisty and he let Clyde train at his farm and John Brown was manager and i got to meet Bomber a good few times.Andy Goram was goalkeeping coach at the time too and to see him going through his paces up close was brilliant and his patter is hilarious.Alan Lowing was also on loan at Clyde at that time although he was very quite and just kept his head down.Colin McAdam took my football at school and Tommy Wilson was the ref for our 5 a side games in Easterhouse Sportscentre for a while during the week in the mid 90's.Don't know if Tommy is still at the club.

Bumped in to Charlie Miller in the Overgate centre in Dundee once after he signed for the arabs. Seen Lovenkrands out and about in Glasgow city centre a few times too but never spoke to him

A couple of my mates met Stevie Naismith in Tenerife and said he was a top bloke (tu)

Did you smash it? :pipe:

As for myself, I bumped into Jim Baxter a couple of years before he died and Andy Goram, although that was at an event so it doesn't really count.

Neither were handsome.
