Scum at it again!

The Mongoose

See, i agree with this. Gillivan should be pulled up for pretty much everything he writes. The chasing of the Sun was completely justified and a great result achieved. The hounding of Piarra Powar or whatever his name is was justified. Paul Elliott as well. Thomson for a lot of his other stuff.

All worthy causes.

But when we take a really tenious link to something and rant and rave about it then you start to undo some of the great work.

You move from justifiable cause to paranoid ramblings in one swoop. (tu)

AT is an enemy of RFC - his every word, (which will never be favourable), must be challenged. BTW - Aluko - what you are suggesting is subjective, who makes the judgement to contest or not.

With what we've been thru' and the obvious hatred that exists, i'd rather highlight to the enth degree wherever these miserable immigrants are vocable to our club and supporters.

Finally - as i mentioned above, the family of those deceased and injured, deserve to have our support.

So when he is discussing the shooting of the British/Iraqi guy in France, we should make some tenious link and challenge him for his comments? wacko.gif

What about his reporting from Syria ? wacko.gif

We can say something, or say nothing. And saying nothing did not do us much good.

We must stand up, and speak up - our club is/has been crucified. And that is over and above the family of the 66 & the 100 injured.

Spot on....if the Tims hadn't kicked up so much fuss about The Famine Song then we would still be singing it ( Although I prefer the words to 4 Men had a dream anyway) not only that The Billy Boys and others would still be sung at their rightful ground.

The time for ignoring them is Over...They didn't go home!

That goes without question. But im sure the families wouldnt want a tenuous link at best to the disaster being used as an attack when not justified. (tu)

His credibility just plumetted even further - and as it had zip all to do with RFC; I couldn't care less mate.

Ive read a few of your blogs and some are spot on, some not so much. Ive never felt compelled to criticise any of your blogs in the past which if nothing else means you are miles ahead of Leggo. You got this one woefully wrong, but it is my opinion.

You do lose some credibility though by using Leggo as backing you up. If you are a regular reader of this place then you will have seen that Leggos stature has went down the drain rapidly recently, though a couple of recent blogs at least suggested that he had calmed down a little.

It might help if you look again at the tweets and recognise the many contributions from all over the UK which clearly indicate the topic of discussion was not Rangers related.

I actually suspect from reading a few of your posts on here that you now realise that you may have made an error but feel you can justify your error by using "aye but" statements about apparent previous form.

A convinced author wouldnt feel the need to (tu)

I didn't say Leggo backed me up. I said he, along with others - some of whom have more knowledge than yourself as regards the background- came to a conclusion AT was having a snide dig.

The day I go through this or any other forum to see if what I blog will meet the approval of others is the day I chuck it. Especially "friendly" fire shootists like yourself.

As for being convinced about something, I am very sure that the same compliment I gave Alex Thomson on my blog about how good a baiter he is applies equally to yourself.

As a blogger, im sure you dont set out to gain everyones approval.

As for friendly fire shooting then this is the first time i have had cause to on one of your blogs. Im sure all of the previous times i have agreed you would be happy to carry on and accept any of my opinions.

The minute i disagree with one, you resort to snide digs.

Well done you. (tu)

As the guy who wrote the piece let me throw my tuppence in.

I wasn't familiar with the Dalek thing. I think I may have heard it but, not being a massive fan or collector of Ibrox Disaster jokes it's not one I would earmark for the after-dinner circuit.

It was a good source - a trusted bluenose - who tipped me off to its meaning.

I subsequently made some further enquiries and discovered it was a known slur among the dhims.

My source also told me that Thomson learned it from a Celtic blogger - not 3 Names - he is known to hang around with.

This man has previously been outed on the old FF forum as using this sick joke.

If a tree falls in the forest and no-one hears it, does it make a sound?

If there is a joke you haven't heard, does it exist?

As Shane says, when you put the credibility of a PROVEN Disaster-mocker and Rangers-hater like Alex Thomson above that of fellow bluenoses, it's a sad day.

This isn't said in arrogance but you sometimes have to accept that when myself and other bloggers say certain things we know a wee bit more than we actually say.

That said, we can get it wrong.

Thomson has wriggle room in this story, that's for sure.

But it keeps the pressure up on Rangers' enemies, of which he is one for even surer.

Yeah let's use the stadium disaster to keep the pressure on our enemies...disgusting.....you would make a good football agent with These morals....

You and furious are far more part of he problem than the solution....you drag us down to there level....

Take the fight to them...morons with a keyboard more like...

How could you possibly know that?

How could you possibly know that?

He knows fuck all...there is no "source"

He has seen a chance to attack a guy who has been having a go at rangers and wants to make a name for himself....the fact he has to use a stadium disaster to do it doesn't seem to bother him.

these guys who are going "on the attack" on our behalf are making a right royal arse of it, I wish they would give us all a fecking break and shut up....

You are free to do your own blog

But one thing I've noticed

Plastic bears never do...

Yes, the world of the Internet message board is a very strange place. Delusions of grandeur and mock outrage whilst, back in real life, most of the wider support are either oblivious or couldn't give a fuck.

Indeed, this online world of mock offence between our two sets of fans is utterly tiresome.

I have never read more shite in my life in such sincere tones.

You obviously didn't read my blog, General.

Or shouldn't that be Lieutenant-Colonel?

Sadly I did....never again....

At least you have impressed a few nutters and got the attention you craved.

Anyway I'm of to watch the rest of the game in the pub and support my country, you can go and blog about us plastic fans who have had season tickets for 27 years and still dare to do that.

P.s. stop pretending you have "sources" it's cringeworthy.

The very nub of it. Off to support your country.

Wondered where all that hate came from...

Tbh I think we need people to highlight any slur on the disaster. I'm in Glasgow and heard that joke do the rounds years ago. Thompson has form for insulting us and our dead. That can't go on without someone speaking up against it.

I have no interest in it, or you, but when someone point scores off the back of 66 dead bodies i will have something to say

Grow up.

All the more reason to say something. Those that died were Rangers supporters. Why not defend them, against these lowlife cunts. I'd gladly do it for you, and i'd expect the very same for me.

Aye.....but....the guy was talking about wasps with people from Liverpool, Swindon, his own town and just because a guy from Oban with a shamrock has a tweet in there, somebody has connected the wasps and daleks to the disaster anguish.gif

Its fukkin awful. anguish.gif

Why would he mention daleks then pal. And i believe he referred specifically to Rangers supporters ?

Loving the plastic bears, sit and blow gas all day and rubbish the efforts of those who actually attempt to do something in retaliation of what at times is an onslaught from every side, within the media and the governing body for football here.

Instead of sitting, criticising all day, why not offer an alternative solution? Unlikely, I know..

So, Token, before you head off to join your friends singing Doe A Deer, you're moaning about blogs being "cringeworthy"? There's irony for you.

Bill, take no notice. This guys habitually talks rubbish
