offminorthreat 1,467
As long as the red brick facade does not get signage I am ok with it. SDA @ Ibrox Park would be fine with me. Reintroduce an old name and get cash injection.
docspiderman 1,308
I do not see a problem; gives the club money and Ibrox will always be iIbrox to us all no matter what the sign says---then, now, forever.

Bertent 2,081
Sponsorship is just part of the modern game, not overly concerned about a stadium name, that is of course if theres any truth to this unsubstantiated rumour. Anyone would think there was a share issue to derail.
harlands plater 17,165
I know we need all the money we can get but I hate the thought of our magnificent home being linked to such a tacky down-market company that deals in cheap shite. It's a sign of how poorly Scottish football is regarded if this is the best we can attract. 77amurai 258
I don't know where I stand with this at the minute. I think finance is something we need to be as prudent as possible with and this would net us the money, but it just feels wrong in my gut. We've had all and sundry trying to take whatever they can off us for far too long and this would feel just the same.........On the Fence Loyal. RickyTheRanger 2
I for one are not opposed to the idea. It will generate a great deal of money that we would have to do nothing for (depending on figures). I will always call it Ibrox but if some corprate big wig wants to give us say 5m a year to put a name that only TV will use then thats fine with me. we need to look at this long term now and get the money i so when we do go back where we belong we blow the rest out the water. novosleftboot 6,358
If Wonga sponsored the stadium for £10m a year, by the end of the season after interest would they have to give us £20m??No, but the players would be expected to give 248% effort

FernandoR20 2,133
Not one rangers fan will agree with this. King Jela 21,686
Charles Green said he wouldn't name the stadium the sports direct arena he would go with a more traditional name whatever that means? It means he has no issues scrapping a part of our history for the highest offer. The Godfather 75,725
Green has seen how passionate this fan base are, Ibrox is not a toy and if they though Newcastle's backlash was bad then this would be 100 times worse imo.
gogzy 31,195
Not one rangers fan will agree with this. So we'll see how Green reacts. That's a bold statement, considering about 25% of people ITT have said they would consider it.
