CalvinC 1,414
How many of us have been saying this since Xmas, and especially since Linfield?I'd hate to think Cribari keeps his place as Luca took to that team like a duck to water. I've never been as confident about our defending as i was in the 2nd half today all season.Absolutely! I hope we get Cribari to fuck, this lad looks twice the player. HG5 11,411
Jig's obviously knackered - no idea why he's not getting a well needed rest.He had 6 weeks off after New Year - how much rest does he need?
RikkiMiller 87
Been keeping tabs on him in the reserves and he's solid at the back, told my brother what to expect if he comes on and he proved my point. Hopefully he can be nurtured and improve over the next few seasons and be a great talent for us.
mitre_mouldmaster 21,509
What height is the boy? He was immense in the air today? All this talk about him, I expected to see a wee kid come onto the park!
Getstiffed 8,863
He is certainly a physical looking big lad. Very encouraging to say the least.

Liam1872 0
Canada U19 captain, think if we can hold onto him for the next 4/5 years we will have a really top player
Colonel Walter E. Kurtz 19
Really impressed with young Gasparotto today, looked very assured
Dunny_01 2,007
thought the boy was massive, stood beside mcculloch looked big bigger, composed looks a find snd a half..... PLAY HIM
No.12 508
I would play him beside Cribari right now, Cribari isn't the best, but I feel Hegarty and Perry left him isolated a lot.
Non_Sucumbi 876
What height is the boy?1.88m around 6ft 2" IIRC
a loyal man 4
What a talent this guy looks. Really impressed me when he came on and looked twice the player cribari has been, watching him i dont think he lost an arial battle for the whole second half, always looked in the correct position aswell. This lad could be what weve been screaming out for , a no nonsense battler that can dominate in the air and at 18 hes got time to improve and bulk up physically. Think we have an absolute gem on our hands. Also a special mention for Seb Faure, i think in the last few games his performances have really improved, seemed to of added an aggression and authority to his tackling and heading that has been lacking but he was immense at the back today aswellI was at the reserve game against Queens Park when they won league and it was obvious how comfortable the back four were. Faure looked like a different player along side Gasparotto and young Mitchell looked the part as well.
East End Bear 9
Young Luca looks good strong in the air and can pass on the deck, we should keep playing him for the rest of the games, its the only way he'll learn.
allgers 735
Hope Ally continues with the young lads, I think that Stoney along with the other guys from the youth teams satisfy that need to see us bring on our own talent.
Non_Sucumbi 876
Luca seems to have loads of potential. Young Aird seems to be gaining in confidence and starting to settle into the Scottish game. Both are around 18.Should we have we looking to tap into the Canadian system for young players to add to the squad?? Many will have dual-citizenship including a EC passport so work permits are not an issue.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
I thought faure looked really good. Mitchell was tidy. Wallace his usual self. Thought Gasparatto did ok his passing was goodI'm pleased he's getting some praise. Decent player imo
novosleftboot 6,296
I will be hugely disappointed if the back 4 from the 2nd half yesterday don't start the game this Saturday vs Peterhead.
Edmiston Drive 3,846
Need to hold fire and not get carried away, let's wait until the boy gets a run in the team.
JRodgA2k8 542
I thought Luca playing beside Faure in the second half looked rather solid indeed. Was very impressed with the young lad, looks a talent

scarkev 3,540
Based on the few minutes he has played I think he has more potential than perry, hegarty or faure....needs to get a run of games mind you....
Bertent 2,081
Like all the youth they have to make the most of any opportunity they get.
elephants stoned 2,994
Deserves to start against Berwick Jig up front or not in the team im afraid.
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
He really should be first choice centre back next season.Agree with this. People can get carried away with young players. A couple of decent games and they are world beaters. Thing with him though is that none of our centre halfs have been any good at all this season. Luca certainly wouldnt be any worse. Think he's well worth a starting slot and certainly should be in and around the first team
Zappa6995 3,686
From the little I have seen of him I'm impressedShades of Danny Wilson about him.Someone has their work cut out to come up with a song about him though
