threshold 142
Was a bit young to have seen goram, so ill say klos.. Loved Alexander, was sad to see him go, thought he deserved to be our number one from the limited amount of games I watch being born n bred in australia
now then forever 298
Mcgregor must be one of the most over rated rangers players ever! I think the fact that he is now entering his prime and hull city have signed him for 1.5m shows how good he is. Would struggle to make my top 10 rangers keepers. Bears 794
Goram easilyWoods or Klos - both very different but cannot choose overallMcCloy - my first favourite playerDon't know what to make of McGregor - he had the skill to become a great but not the attitude and he walked away. To be a great Rangers keeper, you need more than just the skill
gazzas flute 66
Goram by a mile imo.
bluegecko 306
1- Goram (by a mile), 2- Woods, 3- Klos (Woods & Klos very close for me), 4- McCloy, 5- Andy Dibble
Gaffbear 4,101
Goram,Klos then Woods . All by a mile IMO
StublueKPL 524
Goram, Woods, Klos, McGregor. Goram by a mile though.
robertwb 8
Bobby Brown, Billy Ritchie, Chris Woods, Andy Goram, George Niven.
folkestoneger 8,263
Andy Goram then Chris Woods! No way can you put McGregor before Woods lolAgreed.People are forgetting how good Woods was when we set the record for not conceding.
Edmiston Drive 3,846
The one and only Billy Ritchie - his brother Mabozza was also on Rangers books. Also Norrie Martin although can only recall only victory in an Old Firm game in which he played.tommy gemmel worked with me and I used to tell him about a game at the shit heap when Norrie psyched him out of missing a pen...........Norrie walked out to him as he placed the bal and said something, gemmel instead of his usual blast placed the ball low to Norries left hand side along the ground and saved it.Norrie also played a blinder In Dortmund 0-0 to se us through 2-1 in the lead up to the 67 final. Edmiston Drive 3,846
Agreed.People are forgetting how good Woods was when we set the record for not conceding. And in what game was the record announced and what happened after that
folkestoneger 8,263
I preferred Woods. Not because he was necessarily better than Goram, but I liked that team he played in a lot. When Souness left, we stopped playing a certain type of football.Yeah the next 7 or so years were hell
Turnberry18 3,204
Agreed.People are forgetting how good Woods was when we set the record for not conceding.I was actually thinking that. Either people are too young to have seen Woods, or have forgotten how good he was.
Young Bob 1,360
My father watched Rangers from the 30s up until about 2005. He reckoned Goram who narrowly beat George Niven.
Stevie1972 6
Klos was world class, will never forget his performance v hearts when we went down to 9 men & went home with the 3 points & surprisingly a clean sheet!Cuellar aswell done well for us in nets with that tip over the bar at the piggery. lol

RD.1872 890
In my lifetime Goram, Klos and Woods. Cokehead Mcgregor can get to fuck...
folkestoneger 8,263
And in what game was the record announced and what happened after that You know how to spoil a good memory, don't you
bluenosebrad 452
Mine would be Goram, Klos and Charbonnier
Copland bear 7,966
1. Goram2. Klos 3. Woods4. Watteraus5. McGregor6. McCloyGoram was a better all round keeper than Klos but it was close, he was better at pass backs, and coming out for crosses. Both were second to none as shot stoppers. I liked Woods also, he was a fine keeper the first season we had him and broke the Brittish record with the longest time without conceding a goal. Does he still hold the record? Hamilton and Adrain Sprout in the scottish cup put an end to it.
MayboleLoyal_atb 3,765
Balde went for the ball and klos shat it fact, nothing to do with being beaten to the ball, and klos was very poor on cross balls IMO.Not ratting Stefan Klos is up there with one of the daftest opinions a have seen on here. It is however an opinion and your entitled to it!
WadeWilson 4,670
The clue is in the title of the thread. Not only is Goram the best keeper that Rangers ever had. He is the best I have ever seen.
reddrock 107
As Ah kid I liked Gerry Neef and Erik Sorenson
RancidCutlass 190
Goram followed by Woods followed by Klos.Anyone putting Klos above those two is probably giving Klos extra kudos for saying No Surrender in an interview once.
coisty78 15
"Smell the glove" Andy Goram without a shadow of doubtCouldn't agree more!!!THE GOALIE is the best keeper I've ever seen!
