Ace 3,556
It was confirmed at today's AGM that the ST's for the new 2014/2015 season will be subject to an increase, the question is .... what do you think the increase will be or what would you accept as an increase ?? Ace 3,556
For me, I reckon it might be as high as 20% which would cover the 10% that should have happened this season and another 10% or the upcoming season
simplythebest 11,453
Makes sense as part of a business plan, our fans will be the first to expect a challenge in the top flight early doors.
scarkev 3,540
They did the right thing (maybe not financially) keeping the prices down this year in another part time league but next season is a step up and it will at least be competitive with hearts and at least 6/7 other full time teams.....I'd say a 10/15% increase would be fair enough and justifiable! elephants stoned 2,994
It was inevitable with the jump in league standard and our financial position means we should never have frozen prices no matter how well intentioned it was. I guess maybe it will go up by between 10-20% but i really couldn't guess more accurately tbh
North Rd 2,860
20% should be enough i would imagine, we will have the best league next season anyway.

It would actually still be less than putting it up by 10% each of the two years (which gives a 21% overall increase). I expect it will be used as a stick to beat the board with, rather than people being happy that last year's increase was deferred.
the drummer 414
the real fucking question is will I be bothered buying one
gogzy 31,195
the real fucking question is will I be bothered buying onemaybe to you. I am sure most people really don't care if you bother to buy one.I think about 20% also, which seems pretty fair.
Getstiffed 8,863
As long as costs are cut in certain areas then an increase is fair enough.
Right_To_Censor 1,951
the real fucking question is will I be bothered buying oneThe real answer is, i couldn't give two shits if you bought one or not
onefootwillie 1,519
No if it's no more than 20% that would be fair, and we will be in a more interesting and challenging league
clubdeck 41
At the issue of our IPO the original business plan (in days when we had such a thing) was for a 10% season upon season increase in the price of our season tickets. i would expect an increase given that prices were frozen this season to rise around the 20%. the drummer 414
anyone who thinks a 20% rise is justified is mad and the new boards allies

Drunk and disorderly. 14,737
I think we all expected an increase next season. It is inevitable. How much to increase it is a fine balancing act. I'd be pissed off if it was more than 20 percent. I think much more than that would put supporters off and result in a drop in season ticket sales. After all, we will not be in the top division and a lot of our supporters are having to tighten their belts due to the increase in the cost of living. The exact level of increase will be the refreshed board's first big test IMO. Let's hope they find the right balance.

Spectre 1,663
The plan was 10% year on year. Frozen this year, so 20% adds up.Suck it up ffs.20% is actually less than a cumulative 10% each season for 2 seasons so even less reason to greet, under the original plan we'd be due a 21% increase
bluepeter 5,627
The plan was 10% year on year. Frozen this year, so 20% adds up.Suck it up ffs.20% is a smaller rise than 10% per year, so people should really be happy with that. A cheaper than expected ticket last season, and slightly cheaper than expected this season.
gogzy 31,195
anyone who thinks a 20% rise is justified is mad and the new boards alliesexplain?the quality on the park has got better, and will hopefully continue to do so.We are being promoted to a higher league, with better opposition, and better more meaningful games. The initial plan would have seen a 10% rise last season and a 10% rise this season, 20% is totally fair. hammer time 653
probably an extra £2 or £3 on a ticket, and £40 - £50 per season ticketas long it is acceptable i don't imagine too many supporters would complain
