Leeds_Bear 8,123
Not sure about Wallace as captain, cracking player and a legend but he's hardly the most vocal player on the pitch. Black would probably make an OK captain tbf.
STEPPS BOY 74,685
is that a problem for you.it's time for some of our support to wake up.Seems we are owned by Muslims and we have been signing players from different faiths for quite some time. The Willie Waddell years are gone. Not saying that it's a good or bad thing but that's the way it is.Time to move on.Cool story bro. Albertz 78 918
Problem is we don't really have any outstanding candidates for captain right now.Wallace is a good player but not really the blood and thunder type like Gough or Greig so it's a tough call. djbroxybear 660
Black should be getting told to find another club and get him off the wage bill, should never have been signed for us in the first place. Rangers Captain FFS never in his life...

TannochsideBear 355
Got to be Wallace for me. He deserves it as the only top player we had that stayed that could easily have gone. His POTY performances the last two years as well he has been leading by example anyway. It can't be Jig or Daly as I can't believe for a minute either will feature as starters too often. That was the starting point for us losing our unique identity and leading us to where we are today. Murray knew from that day he could do anything and the support would accept it. OlegKuznetsov 10,816
Wallace or Miller are the best two candidates.
Tontospal 1,116
Anyone else heard that Ian Black is going to be our new captain? Seems jig is not going to play much this season if he stays and given Black was Hearts captain he is going to be the same with us. Not sure he is the man for the job but then again it May be what he needs to pull his finger out of his arseHas done nothing on or off the park in last two years to qualify as a captain of Rangers. Regardless of our status the captain of Rangers is a privileged position and must be earned.

Swagger 8,264
Surely this can't be true. Ian Black captain of Rangers - ludicrous. They way things are though nothing would surprise me
Goianegra 4,686
Wallace is captain material imo. Unmatched dedication. If Jig's out of the equation, Miller probably as vice.
ArchibaldLeitch 380
Wallace should be captain.
jamess 3,448
Wallace or Miller are the best two candidates. My first thought would be Wallace, but agree with the people who point out he's not very vocal. Miller is a good shout - a respected professional who knows how to act. But should probably be Wallace, as will be a regular starter and will be in the team for years hopefully.
