I just can't stomach it to be honest.....it's the catholic games in my eyes with the ways things have been done and the selective redevelopments etc....loved the London Olympics aswell but can't see me watching any of it maybe with the exception of the boxing....get your money on selby to win gold - stick on!

Peter Liewell and co. have milked this for all they could get, not only are they getting a small fortune for this and free advertisement (athletes fucking waving Celtic tops at the camera and promoting the stadium) but the whole area around Porkhead has been renovated, couldnt believe it when I seen the pics. We have supported the queen for years and we get fuck all.

After watching.

The planes pass with Blue Red and White trailing smoke

Our Queen arrives to a standing ovation

And best of all everyone singing the national anthem.

All happening at that East End place.

Hasn't been all bad, has it?

Well I'm watching it and have to say putting all bias to the side. The opening ceremony was totally embarrassing.

Yeah, the first couple of songs were like something done by amateur theatrics !

And the dogs ! Who the fuck thought that one up ?

I never thought I would enjoy it as much, ive had the best time watching it.

I never thought i would live to see the day when Parkhead would be lit all blue

When the Queen would be standing in it, cheered to the rafters,

England cheered and Northern Ireland cheered with the biggest Red Hand flag flying high.

The national anthem loudly performed.

Wonderful

Why is their name lit up on stand roof,no need for it to be.Why do the commentators keep saying celtic park at every opportunity.

I assume calling it The Glitterdome/Brendanbau/Piggery/insert your own here/ might have been seen as a bit of an 'in-joke' for some.....

I thought that was outstanding, Scotland has evolved to stand up for freedom in the modern world, not by the old-fashioned way of picking up a sword, but by championing equality of; race, human rights, education, gender, sexual orientation and personal freedom. So unbelievably proud to be Scottish.
