feda16 136
Rumours circulating we donated nothing to Poppy charity. Is there any figures in how much we raised at the weekend? Can't let any unwashed claim anything on us
RFC Eagle 4,888
Rumours circulating we donated nothing to Poppy charity. Is there any figures in how much we raised at the weekend? Can't let any unwashed claim anything on usThere were collection buckets at the game and the club works through the year with Erskine amongst others. Tell the unwashed that Rangers remember every day of every year and will continue to do so.

bluenose1975 1,287
I too heard a rumour that during the minutes silence meant as a mark of respect to the fallen the mhanky bastards shouted out obscenities against the fallen. They can stick the ten grand up their holes. If I was poppy Scotland I'd tell them to ram it.

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,807
£10k is to significant a contribution to be refused. For this donation I commend the mhanks, though their overall poppy shame games are sickening to the core. But again the propaganda war is in full flow where they receive media exposure for this donation and yethttp://rangers.co.uk/news/club-news/item/7971-halloween-ball-a-charity-successwill just pass bye unreported from what I have seen. But then, maybe I'm too paranoid>

Brian Fantana 28,894
those amongst the unwashed who showed disrespect during the minutes silence are a blight on society, a group that are allowed to openly support a terrorist organisation responsible for more innocent deaths in Britain than any other and who have all their indiscretions swept away out of sight by the gutter press. It says it all about the state of Scotland.if any of them question our clubs donation i would just fucking stomp the bastards into the ground.lets see if the scum fest that will be staged on Friday in the glitterdome is reported for the countless amounts of shameful banners, singing and other absolutely moronic shenanigans they get up to. Courtyard Bear 41,357
Unlike those Mhanky bastards we don't need to cover up disgraceful behaviour with a 10k bride. And I think you will find Rangers and its supporters put a lot more than 10k into Poppy Scotland. TMB 14,167
Celtic donate not because they believe in the charity, but because they want to keep Poppy Scotland away from their club. I wrote as much to Poppy Scotland and said they shouldn't accept donations under these circumstances. They replied a few hours ago:@poppyscotland What arrangement do you have with Celtic FC? They give you money & you agree not to go to their ground trying to raise money?@TheMightyBears Hi. Club's help us in different ways-the donation from the Celtic FC Foundation will go towards funding our educational workTake from this what you will. I think by "educational work" Poppy Scotland is hinting that the money is being used to try and stamp out bigotry. The type of bigotry we seen by Celtic fans at the weekend. govanblue 16,847
Our donations don't make the press, because we don't go running to the press bleating about our donations, but a quick search of my favourite news site: https://www.erskine.org.uk/search/node/rangers brings up a few stories that few people would have heard of because they don't make front page news. For example, who remembers this?...Ex Rangers Player Presents Donation of £25,000 to Erskineor this...March 2014 - Rangers fans raise £12,000 for Sensory Roomor maybe this...Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal reach amazing total of over £170,000 in 2011All of these and many many more can be found with a simple one word search...https://www.erskine....ch/node/rangersAnd amongst the many things going on for Erskine right now which aren't in the papers, this...https://www.justgivi.../erskineglasgowand this...https://www.justgiving.com/dreamtime/and of course, we've even got our very own RM collection going on right now!
