The thing about the Premier League is that the form needs to be kept up for a second season. He's in prolific form right now, for sure. It's just in the last few years there's been examples like Michu or Jelavic who just hit the ground running and then end up teams figure them out and they struggle.

I'm not convinced yet, but he's certainly in the form of his life and good luck to the boy, hopefully he can kick on next season and get even better.

Barkley is another one.

Hyped last season but has been brutal everytime I've seen him this season.

At least Kane has virtually no competition at Spurs as Soldado is a dud and big Adye is a huffy bastard.

Think I seen a stat that Rooney hasn't had a shot on target since November or something. Fair enough he's used as a CM but that's ridiculous

LVG was playing him as a defence mid in a Carrick role

I'm expecting Rooney to spit the dummy pretty soon and threaten to leave.

When RVP is playing shite and Falcao is a man down then why would you not play Rooney in his best position?

That usually gets Rooney a contract extension and another 100k a week.

He's having a fantastic season and good luck to him, seems to be the real deal, but I always reserve judgment until the following season when defenders get to know his game, then we'll know if he's a true striker or not, nothing he's done so far though would indicate that he isn't.
