Oh, there are laws in place which could be argued in court.

http://www.dwf.law/news-events/legal-updates/2014/04/defamation-in-scotland/

Read it, and tell me how he would defend his constant attention on one club? Parity of punishment would bring in the spfl and the sfa to argue their points.

BRING IT FUCKING ON.

As much as I would love to have a case against him, I only had to read to the second paragraph to get to this - "To be defamatory a statement must be false and must lower the defamed in the estimation of right thinking members of society. A court will ask itself what that standard is today as it is within this context that the court will look at the allegedly offending statement."

What did he write that was false?

maybe those appeasers, at the club will eventually realise that you cannot build bridges with those who want to see you cease to exist

lets hope he, and his despicable organisation, are never allowed to set foot in Ibrox again

and never mind the bollocks about contractual obligations, grow a set and ban them sin die

Absolutely spot on.

If he is banned then we won't need to worry about the beeb at Ibrox. Surely like last time they'll stay away in sympathy with their "top sports correspondent"? until we're at home in the Scottish cup. That's the time to tell them to fuck off.

On a linked subject. According to the match text from Stranraer there was the possibility of the KO having to be delayed due to flares being let off in the away support section.

Surely this is more serious than certain songs being sung but not a single report on bbc sports web site tonight.

I guess it will be in the match delegates report and Celtic will be facing an SPFL heating.on the subject.

Would have been interesting if sfa match delegate at ibrox today (a c**tic season ticket holder) had been at the mhanks game instead

Who was it mate ? .They are not even hiding it nowadays .The football authorities in this Country are just a cabal ,biased towards one club with chosen friends just along for the ride .

Step 1. Write letter of complaint to BBC. Take matter further when not dealt with satisfactorily.

Step 2. Write letter of complaint to SPFL demanding a full investigation into the conduct of a business partner and a review of professional relationship.

Step 3. TEMPORARILY ban journalist pending the outcome of Steps 1 and 2.

Result - BBC will get fed up constantly dealing with complaints. SPFL will get fed up constantly investigatin the conduct of the BBC. Length of ban is dependant on the conduct of the BBC and the SPFL.
