AlBear. 8,499
Be good, might be reading too much into a nice gesture. Would love to attend a Rangers v Linfield/Linfield v Rangers game.

there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
It it's at the refurbished Windsor I might have to go.
BEE 4,880
Been to Linfield a few times and Belfast for the walk - would prefer another England friendly over this.
eskbankloyal 19,446
Heard earlier on in the season we were lined up to play Linfield in Belfast for his testamonial but not heard anything since. We'll soon find out I suppose.
novosleftboot 6,285
Meh! Give me a shout when the Northampton away friendly is announced. I'll get excited then. (And arrange a babysitter for the kids to free up bedspace for the bears!)
ThatNightInFlorence 696
Send the under 20's and a few fringe first team players. Don't think there is much we can learn from playing Linfield in a friendly given that we won't have much time this pre-season with the League Cup Group Stage starting pretty early on in the season. K.A.I 36,183
Mentioned this on here a few weeks ago. Mulgrew's testimonial. Should be a good trip (if confirmed)

Was at a Linfield european game in July against some Czech team and it looked like it was coming on well then. Reminded me of that Aviva stadium. cumnockbear 2,446
Hopefully not, would rather a friendly against an English side.

Why would it be one or the other? plenty of time to arrange other games - if that's Warburton's style.

It could be both but if it's only the one England would be my choice.
HeHaw 513
One and possibly the only club to actually help us out when we went in to Administration, never used to give a flying fuck about clubs other than Rangers but I will be forever grateful for Linfield and their fans for digging deep and helping us in our time of need and will be well be up for this if it gets the go ahead. B1872 20,773
Would love to do a wee summer trip over to Belfast to see the Gers tbh. Also lets not forget the part Linfield played in helping us when we needed it. ??
